30 Gedanken zu „Classic WoW Hunter Mechanics: Auto-Shot, Kiting, Rotation“
  1. Gosh, I last played a hunter about 10 years ago and what a huntard I was! Hoping to jump into classic soon and play this class properly… not before taking this channel's hunter masterclass phew Great stuff, man!

  2. I prefer fast shooting bows with same dps to get off more auto shots in between rotation. Losing dps in cheetah vs hawk cause the xbow takes way too long to shoot so you can't kite in hawk. Xbow good for pvp ganks and dungeons though. I still prefer bows for pvp cause it's easier to kite while consistently getting off shots. You're demonstrating on lvl 52 mobs too as youd get more aggro on lvl 60.

  3. Now I am new to wow but I have been playing "hunters" (archers) in other mmos for over 10 years. I used kiting as a method to avoid getting hit but doesn't a pet solve it for you on wow or pets don't hold aggro well? Because if the pets can hold aggro there is literally no point into kiting at least in solo levelling. I guess dungeons and raid are different but you will have a tank for those.

  4. Really good video. I was doing the demons but no one really goes into much detail about how to kite.
Think people forget alot of us level as simple beast master turrets, pet tanks we stand and shoot no kite needed but when it came to the leaf q it was then that i knew i had to elevate my hunter game and go from turret to actually using the wider scope of the class.
Literally watched this vid before bed got up this morning and nailed the ws and ungoro demons one after another purely because of a bit of basic kiting info.
Also if you cant get yaht you can use Weapon Swing Timer, it has melee and ranged timers and it looks pretty much the same 🙂

  5. excellent video, you kept it simple and basic with good clear explanation for the newbie in mind and I learnt a lot thank you for making my gaming experience better. I enjoy these types of videos where you go into the mechanics and how to play.
