Funny seeing Arms owning s1 as they were HORRIBLE in the original game for…. s5 was it ? Think they got some buffs after and started reking in s6. And ofc like all things Warr back then the more gear you have and the better wep the more rage you get per swing = the more dmg. And you just start snowballing to super op.

It's interesting to see the rogue specs in such an unexpected order for me.
For me, although it sounds unthinkable, the spec that has given me the best results and that I feel most comfortable with is combat, at least in bgs.
With subtlety of course I have greater mobility, preparation, greater control and greater survivability. But the problem I notice, is that the more the expansion progresses, the less damage I do with the spec. Against heavily equipped plate players I can't lower his health more than 20-30% during shadowdance. I only deal significant damage to cloth or low gear players.
With assa rogue I notice better performance against plate players (except dks), plus I have access to prep to use defensively or offensively. What I don't like about the spec is that it has a lot of timeouts due to lack of energy, even with the glyph of mutilate it's too expensive and I get stuck after two mutilates. It also has the problem of breaking many blinds and gouges due to poisons. I feel that assa is the spec that needs the least equipment to deal good damage, although you need millions of expertise or miss half of the mutilates.
I guess I feel better combat rogue because it always has damage, a lot of energy, a lot of burst with adrenaline rush and killing spree, and maybe because vanilla and tbc got me used to the rogue with swords, so it feels more familiar.

Well you are wrong about enh. Enh sham wolfs scales good with ap. Problem with enh shaman in early season is getting out of mana because of some healing. That problem is solved later because with more dps you can recover more mana while using shamatic rage and you have more mana from gear.
