Got two shiny grimm in the event, first one has HA so I had to hunt for a prankster one, thankfully the second shiny has prankster.

Little confused on how to get the shiny grimmsnarl. When the mon is not shiny do I have to do they date and time change or just close the game and reload it??
After the whole setup, do you guys stay at one den to farm or do you switch after some time?
I have been farming for 3 hours at a den and although the pokemon change every day, i havent had a shiny in like 50+ grimmsnarls. Any ideas/suggestions guys? Thx
If you want the simplest explanation I can think of to get shiny grimmsnarl:
Update wild area news in mystery gift,
Find impidimp morgrem or grimmsnarl in a den, save, go in the den on local, invite others, change date to one day foreword, repeat to 5 star Grimmsnarl, check den ( with a mon with earthquake or surf to defeat ur teammates to save time, repeat till shiny (:

I'm doing the date skip and its giving me watts, but the den remains a 5 star grimsnarl. So unless I'm getting extremely lucky, I think something wrong.
