It's 4:28am and I just did this in that same snapshot to kill time during an insomniac night. I played in Hardcore mode, and it took me 2 attempts and more than 3 and a half hours to successfully beat the Ender Dragon. I can easily say this has been one of my most stressful experiences in Minecraft. Dying just demotivates you so much.
