Sup B, don't really use Twitch any more but it's great to be able to come on here (very occasionally) and see yourself and the usual suspects bringing the news straight up and without bias (as much as one can). Feels like the world is full of paid actors and headlines written for maximum engagement over integrity. It's refreshing just to have the news as is, with a little fun on the side and chat being chat 🙂

Since they are now requiring an SMS cell phone to play Overwatch 2 I don't have a cell so I'll be automatically locked out of it.
As an African American I am honestly fine with blizzard calculating the diversity score of thier roster. If they are worried they will not be bias in thier roster, a in feeling metric can help you see where you can improve.
Now how different things are counter is another thing, but I appreciate the effort.
The chess thing, I personally think they just have taken too long to do this investigation, there's no legitimate way I think that they can conduct a investigation this far from the original incident and probably should have been done the day of instead of now, if anything I feel like they either will just say there was no cheating or they make something up to keep the face of one of the best chess players onboard and happy. [Edit: Welp, still no 100% evidence but looking worse]

The whole Overwatch thing, I feel like it would be fine if they used things to diversify the characters, like gender orientation or what not from the get go and not retroactively change it to what seemingly feels like to appeal to it's consumers. Like how Tracer was shown to not be straight long after the game has been out when there was no indication at all prior.
I use BTTV to block all fucking spam on chat like bits, subscriptions and any other shit… I hate that, it's annoying.

let's be honest… this whole "diversity system" is just a monetization bullshit to target specific people depend on which character on "diversity" chart they play the most. No one plays a character because of sexual orientation or skin colour, it's mostly gameplay style or meta. Biggest problem is when they make whole personality of a character based only on one feature like being from India or being gay. That is "caricature"…
