  1. Great Job, Wood! This is the perfect antidote to the Gamexplain video I watched the other day where they were saying they were disappointed by this game. TOTK feels like culmination of 40 years of Nintendo gameplay rolled into one game. You can see the DNA from the original legend of Zelda, to Pilotwings, to warioware. I can’t fathom an employee from a Nintendo focused channel not leaving this game feeling positive, it’s crazy.

  2. There's definitely a few wrong ways to play. Like this guy who tried to attach springs to wings and expected to take off. Or DSP infamously pushing the little balls into the ball pit manually with ultrahand instead of building the bulldozer to push them all at once, or figuring out a faster way of clumping them all together and throwing them into the pit.
In my experience, the solutions boil down to one of several possibilities:
    – the intended way
    – the fun, unintended way
    – boring but functional way
    – extremely tedious, brute force way

  3. This is an excellent video, as an editor I can see this took a huge amount of work and planning to pull off. It's rare that a video this long is so tightly scripted and edited, could have easily been 6 separate videos. Speaking as a Zelda fan, I share your love for the masterpiece that is this game but I do disagree with you on dungeons. In my opinion the new format dungeons don't hold up to even mediocre classic Zelda dungeons, I would've preferred for them to be be similar to the puzzle shrines actually (non scaleable walls and some linearity) because I enjoyed those puzzles more than the 'get to these 4 points on the map' style.

  4. 0:36 I actually did it for real two weeks ago. TOTK was so amazing that I wanted to go skydiving for real and it was AMAZING! You should do it BeatEmUps. That would be a great video! How totk inspired you to skydive yourself. That would be amazing to watch. Even better do it with Bob!

  5. MAJOR SPOILER ALERT. this guy spoils A LOT. He even spoils the entire story climax and ending. He practically shows the entire ending! And makes lame jokes about it. Ruined it for me. I was right about to finish the game, then watch this high school project video, and now ending is ruined. You should mention at the beginning of the video how much you spoil, cuz it really sucked watching this

  6. My only complaint is that people are mad at the lack of timeline relevance. But… For me atleast i couldnt care about the timeline. If this is apparent of its own newer timeline i think its fair for the quality these two games have given us

  7. I just beat the game and I have to say, Tears of the Kingdom is the 2nd greatest game I have ever played. I put it in close to 120 hours. 10/10. This is the best Zelda game ever made. My list now goes like this. #1 FF7 (pS1) #2 tears of the kingdom. #3 ocarina of time.

  8. I love this game, easy masterpiece and personally I don’t find the sage abilities too annoying because if we had the botw abilities with the zonai devices the game would break. My one complaint is that some of the shrines are too short. I like most of them and some of the puzzles will floor me but in botw the shrines were little dungeons, with huge puzzles that took a while to complete. However this is only a small complaint because typically reaching the shrine in the first place would be serotonin enough.
