Me: Order of the Phoenix is about the aftermath of Voldemort revival where the Ministry of Magic is trying to make people think Dumbledore doesn't know what the heck he's talking about and that he's just a grumpy old man while Dumbledore trying to build an army to fight the dark lord, while having to keep distance with Harry in fear of Volde hearing him in.
I get Order of the Phoenix is the longest of the Harry Potter books but that doesn't mean it isn't a complicated story to follow. Honestly in my opinion you don't have to read any of the books to understand any of the Harry Potter movies.
