It works. Make sure you have an arboliva in your raid and belly drum after the samurott puts up a shield and nullifies stats which should be around turn 3 or 4. Rollout right after belly drum. The healing from grassy terrain and aqua ring as well as the sitrus berry should be enough to sustain azumarill throughout the rollouts as long as samurott doesn't land too many crits.

Deleted my last message. Got it to work without the need of a single Belly Drum. Though an NPC Staraptor and Drifblim helped

Don't use belly Drum. It's not necessary. Takes your health down too low and it's hard to recover. Move on to defense curl and roll out and that's really enough.

Definitely works RNG. but as a team, teamates just have to help set up, as in "HEAL" basically once belly drum is activated teamates need to heal, and person with azumarill can defence curl then Rollout takes a huge chuck of health, then it'll reset stats and just continue rollout. or set up again.

Just cleared Samurott without belly drum, since samurott keeps wiping boosts anyway. Gave my Azu shell bell too for sustainability, with aqua ring Azu jus keeps steamrolling on rollout and recovering

This did not work at all 😅 had it exactly as described and Samurott immediately nullifies your belly drum, then knocks you out shortly after despite having the sitrus berry. Which undoes your aqua ring and defense curl. Then on top of that, nearly every other Rollout missed.

*Samurott nullify (won't remove def cheer buff)
1x Aqua ring
1x Defense curl
Rollout until 💀

Belly Drum didn't need a chance to get used.
NPC mons were only intimidate ones, no heals.

I just used koroidon at lvl 100
