  1. I don't understand how people can be so chill about missing school. Maybe I just go to a super hard school, but if I miss a day making up the work will set me behind for at least two super stressful days, but I'll feel like I'm behind for a week and I'll never really feel solid on the material I missed. And it's not just me. People at my school come even when they're a little sick. As long as they can still function enough in class, staying home sick is not worth the extra work. idk. I think I just go to a hard school

  2. Hey guys, I'm just starting my junior year of high school (I live in Arizona and school starts early here) and I am super excited to go to prom for the first time. I really can't wait to ask someone, but seeing as prom is 7-8 months away when is it too early to ask someone?

  3. UPDATE: Hey Brothers and Friends! Alright, thanks for answering the question I stupidly over-complicated, as I usually do. Based on your advice (and the advice of a few other close peers), I did break up with my now ex-gf realizing my own happiness was more important and am now excited for college! However, I was right in that she was extremely hurt by this decision and then tried to tell everybody that I was a manipulative jerk and I lost 2 of my friends. All my other friends though (even people I barely know) came to my aid to make sure I was alright knowing she's just a hurt girl being the jerk herself and they agreed I shouldn't have been with her, and that made me really happy to be reminded what having people who actually care about you feels like. I also thank you for answering my question too, I've watched this channel since the start of year 2, and you always bring a joy to my life

  4. Update: you gave me marriage advice a while back. So I have been now married for about a month now. And using the love languages to show my love to my wife has made the transition smoother. I will continue to use this advice. Thanks so much for the great videos and great advice.

  5. Hey Jordan, J, Ben, and DK. I need your advice. I've been having a really hard time with depression lately and I don't know what to do. My parents don't know about it and I'm too afraid to tell them because I don't want them worrying to much. I've been talking to a good friend of mine and she has kind of helped me out but not enough for me to feel okay. What should I do? Preferably without getting my parents involved. Also should I join the discord?

  6. Hi DK, Ben, J, and Jordan, My older sister (they're 14, I'm 12) Has OCD, intrusive thoughts, anxiety, depression to the point of several suicide attempts, and fibromyalgia. They're having an awful time of it, and I'm trying to help, but I don't know what to do. Any suggestions as to what I can do to help? Or any suggestions as to what they can do to help themselves?

    P.S They're gender-neutral, thus the they/them pronouns.

  7. As a teacher: If you are arriving to school a week or so late, find out from the teachers what kinds of activities that you missed. If you missed introductory information make sure that you meet with you teacher and that you get the introductory information. I had one student that missed the first week of school two years in a row. He missed all of the introductory information about how to use the software that we were using for our entire curriculum and the next year, he missed all of the transitions of how the second year was going to work different than the first year. All 4 years of high school he struggled and 90% of the issues that he had were from missing the first week of school – twice. Connect with your teachers and make sure that you didn't miss important content.

  8. One I thought the war frame said water frame and also I just finished freshman year percentage of actually showing up to school was like 80 something the first year is nothing as long as you know the material there teaching you which is most likely a larger version of what you learned in middle school and you miss as least amount of days in the last semester as possible
