34 Gedanken zu „Why Bad Players THINK They're Good | ROCKET LEAGUE“
  1. I've been watching you for too long without subscribing, so now you've got it. I love that your primary logic is centered around proper positioning and game sense, which then makes the game seem easier. It looks like your games are a lower rank than we're experiencing, but that only because of your good positioning. And I enjoy your humble behavior more than some others.

  2. The main thing I notice is that players that care about doing better will watch videos like this, train some, and try to learn things. Like they are training for a sport. And it makes sense… Because Rocket League is the closest thing to playing a real sport in all of video gaming. It's nothing like playing the FIFA games or MADDEN where you are controlling a whole team or maybe even coaching. In Rocket League you are just One Individual Player on the field… At all times. Like it would be if you actually went outside and played soccer with friends in real life. What you can control and do personally is basically ALL you can do. You can't make your teammates run around and do anything you want them to do like you are hitting buttons on a controller to make them do things. lol. So all you can really do is train yourself and play the best individually as you can. But in a way that is in the best interest of the Whole Team.

Like in a real-life soccer game you wouldn't just walk away and cause your team to get outnumbered horribly just because you got too tired or needed a drink or something. You wouldn't run up the field and try and steal the ball from Your Own Teammate who was already in possession of the ball or maybe about to score just because You Really Wanted to score instead. You wouldn't just run up the field trying to go on offense when your team doesn't have the ball and they need you to help defend. I mean think about it. It's just common-sense stuff.

But ofc you have the other side of this… The population of players that just jump in and run around because it's funny to hit a ball with a car. They don't think about team or getting better or anything. They just do stuff. And a lot of times they only think of themselves while playing.

Or even the players that maybe would like to do a bit better… Or maybe they try to improve but literally don't understand anything about the game because they have literally No Background in Sports. Not even soccer, which would be the most relevant. Just gamers that have never cared about sports and have had no experience with it. Except maybe getting bullied by a football jock in school or something. lol. So they have no understanding of the extreme basic concept of playing as a team, positioning, when to be offensive or defensive or anything really. Like learning a sport for the very first time. And it's up to them to make the decision to actually try and train and get better or just hope for the best.

When you are playing you can basically tell what kind of players you are playing with. By the way they act throughout the match. I'm just praying that one day more players will At Least watch videos like this and make a little headway to being better teammates. The game would be so much more fun if this was the case.

  3. I'm one of those players lol as soon as i start peaking its such a high peak that i start thinking "wow, i finally got up here" and then because im thinking that way. when i have a low, its SUPER low. so then i go back to basics and work up again!

Best way is to chill when you're peaking so that you stay within a consistent level of play regardless of peak/low. its almost always mentally related in this game.
And its because every little input can be affected by your emotions. if you're angry, i guarantee you're hitting the sticks TOO hard.
