  1. How do you meet someone when you're no longer in full time education, work in an environment where you're surrounded by your own gender, and are too much of an introvert to just go into a bar and strike up a conversation with a stranger?

  2. Hey DK, Ben and J

What are some good audiobooks? I drive pilot car for a construction company and I’m looking for something to entertain my brain while I drive. Any suggestions will help!

  3. Hey DK, Jonathan, and Ben. I have a career based question. I am a 26 year old and have a hard time settling on "what to be when I grow up." I have a job that mostly supports my family for the time being. I don't think it will work long term. How do I settle on something I can stick to?

  5. ahoy boys,
ways to deal with a dolores umbridge teacher?
i have seen advice on this to join together as a class and make life hell for the teacher, but in the situation it just wont work.
this teacher alone has turned me off a subject which i was interested in doing, alhtough the subject had nothing to do with my wanted future career, i was still just interested in this subject.
i also feel like there are just certain people that you will come across like this in day to day life and i think its just a handy skill to know how to deal with these kinds of peoplee
BTW the subject is japanese, and i am in high school in australia, just so you know the situation.

  6. Organization tips from a person with a smaller home, no storage and alot of stuff.
    1) get multifunctional furniture. Ex: an ottoman that opens for storage
    2) utilize the height of a room. Put up shelves to hold some knick-knacks, books etc. Shelves can open some floor space where a bookshelf used to be and make the room feel bigger.
    3) go through all the stuff in the house that doesn't have a "spot" every couple months and get rid of things you don't need anymore. Also, go through clothes. If you haven't worn some everyday clothes in a while, donate them. I think dress clothes are almost always ok to keep as long as they fit.
    4) put all the items you don't use but don't want to get rid of (ie: antiques, family heirlooms, gifts you feel bad tossing, etc) in a storage bin. It will allow you to keep it all together and protect it without it all being strewn about the house.
    5) designate a spot or room in your house as the storage area. This will keep all the things you don't use regularly out of the way but still accessible.
    6) designate bins in the storage area. One for kitchen storage, one for bedroom storage, etc. You can also store by type of thing; clothes, knick-knacks, toys, etc.
    7) a quick 5 min pick up every day does wonders. I pick a room for each day of the week, take a storage bin in and spend 5 minutes putting things back in place or, if they don't have anywhere to go in the room, I put the items in the storage bin and put it in my designated storage space. I typically use the same bin every day until it's full, then I take 5-10 min to go through the bin and either put items in a corresponding bin in my storage area, in the room they belong in, or donate/toss things I realized I don't need.
    8) use little baskets to organize bathroom items. It keeps things contained and as you put things in the baskets you might find some old products that can be tossed, freeing up the space they were using.
    9) look on Amazon for storage items for each room of the home. There are so many things out there to help de-clutter. Counter/table space is valuable space in smaller homes. Just using an under the cabinet paper towel holder will free up a decent amount of space where it used to sit on a counter.

It's a constant process for me, but 5 min a day is manageable. Every couple months I spend a day or 2 going through the whole house and tossing/donating items I no longer need.

I hope these tips help. If anyone wants a little more detail on storage for each room, or if anyone has questions, feel free to ask. 😊 happy organizing!

  7. IMPORTANT QUESTION😱😱😱😱😱😱!!!!!!! I have a crush, who annoys me so much… I am the brainiac in the class, absolute best at everything except PE, and he's second, but gets so much more attention, and honestly,it really frustrates me. Everyone knows he's smart, everyone knows about his musical talents (he plays the guitar) and he's the teachers pet, not me, him.😱Never happened to me before. He's just noticed by EVERYONE, because he parades it around all over the place. Every time it annoys me, but he doesn't do it on purpose, and he's really nice. So no matter how much he annoys me, I still really like him. A friend says that he likes me (She doesn't know I like him) and I want to believe it, but I really don't know. What do I do?

  8. Just a quick Planet of the Apes discussion, as it is one of my favorite remake series. If I do recall “Draco”s character worked there because it was his fathers business. He was set up to be a jerk character so that when he gets beat up by the Apes we can begin to root for them in their hopes of escaping. I don’t think he chose to work there out of passion, just convenience that his father owned it so he wouldn’t have to get a “real job” and could just slack off because it’s daddy’s place.

  9. My mother is the opposite of the last question you answered in ‘why am I not the boss?’. She makes decisions quickly then changes her mind later. This drives me crazy because I’ve gotten used to her decision by the time she changes it, and also sometimes she changes her mind to the decision I made which she has since talked me out of when I voiced it. Any ideas?

  10. hi, two years late here, what i do when im reorganising, is each room separately, basically just start all over. Dump everything onto the bed, or a floor outside until your room is basically BARE, then go through all of your stuff, group them in whatever way is most convenient for you, and then fill up your room section by section

  11. "10 year old insults." I don't know a single adult who swears as much as an adult as they did when they were ten years old.

In Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Tom Felton's character actually worked because they explained he only got the job because his uncle owned the place, and he was fired from every other job he'd tried. So he didn't actually want to be there, but ut was the one place he could earn a paycheck while not having to worry to much about his attitude or work ethic so long as he didn't do anything too outrageous.
