  1. here's the solution, blizz can probably track how much gold an account has made (it was an acheivement at one poitn wasnt it?) when people go thru the portal, sort them out by gold income, all accounts that have made over a certain amount of gold go to their own server… lol

  2. I think streamers are getting too much of a voice, where their crappy opinions are going to influence the game. Who fuckin cares if people can buy a mount with actual money instead of farming for a month, or paying some chinese website? At the end of the day its a video game and while for you its your life and your livelihood, some of us don't have hours upon hours to spend grinding out shit that was poorly though out in the first place. Let people have their mounts… It's THEIR game experience and if they want a mount right away, let them have it in a way that doesn't break any rules. Who gives a fuck if blizz makes some money? People spend money on stupid shit on the internet ALL THE TIME.

  3. i unsubbed yesterday, I disagree with paid boosts , specially the ones that give you a spec and sets of gear. This brings in the retail feel of the game …. 60's with premade sets of armor but no idea how to play.

  4. You guys need to get somebody who plays TBC servers on here, a lot of the opinions shared about it in this chat are extremely naive for current TBC standards.
Drums, for example, removing them from mandatory use wont at all free up professions.. On the contrary, if Leatherworking becomes useless, there are 2 very strong professions behind it that most people have to choose from, and they will be what you use instead. Those being Jewelcrafting and Engineering and it will be mandatory to have them.

It'll also be mandatory to reroll enchanting everytime you get a ring drop, enchant it, then relevel your profession.

There is a lot of TBC situations that the general none TBC community are extremely naive towards.

  5. you should break these up on youtube 15 minutes each to get revenue and to break the topics. At minimum section the video with topics of it to be easier to get the content you want instead of watching the full 2hr. If this is too much to do just pay someone to do it and give them a percentage of the earnings. @EsfandTV @Esfand

  6. Why is the term "slippery slope" being referred to as a fallacy? Allowing Blizzard to add paid-for services, mounts, or whatever, will inevitably lead to more of that stuff down the road (look at retail), and therefore "slippery slope" perfectly describes this.

  7. For someone who skipped classic WoW and have to level from level 1 to 70 i am strongly against level boost ,if they put level boost for TBC classic it will ruin everything .Like why lvl when you can just pay to win to max level ?

  8. Am I the only person who doesn't give a fuck what mount someone rides? Maybe it's the retail in me.

Also, as somebody who stopped playing in p1, I have no idea how I even would compete in tbc without buying gold.

  9. awesome podcast series im only 15 mins in but appreciate this discussion on important issues blizzard should fire all the bfa clowns on 250k salaries and start paying u guys to head up an ethics panel to address issues in tbc

  10. The gaming community has the weakest willpower out of any other community, and the AAA companies know that. That is why they will never stop with microtransactions and in-game cash shops.

  11. I am not a person who would play classic and tbc forever but if blizzard doesnt do fresh servers perioodically they are right back to where they were in 2017 and before, where ppl who love these games are just gonna find some way to play it.

I think really the ultimate solution is alternate timelines after classic or tbc, where they keep the expacs monetization free, true to teh visions of the original 3. This alternate timeline can have Lich king much later than the 3rd expac.

however with level boosts and a possible store mount blizz has proven that money is greater than player experience. I personally would of much prefered alternative timelines after classic, having outland open up as a 3rd expac, and northrend as 4th or 5th

  12. Man I haven't played wow since the WOD days but I watch all of OTK's and Asmon's videos while building/painting warhammer
Y'all Definitely take me back to the good days when the entire friend group played together. Keep it up guys
