Tbh of the reverbation ensemble in terms of how much I like the characters… Philip>Argalia>Oswald>Jaehon>Greta>Elena>Pluto>Tanya>Bremen>Eileen. I think the main issue is that it's 10 of them and they had limited time to be fleshed out across the story so some just come off less interesting? Eileen is boring, Bremen is interesting but has no character, Tanya is kinda cookie cutter, Pluto is kinda in Argalia's shadow, Elena is cool but not particularly complex and doesn't show up after love town till now excluding the flashback, really, Greta is fun but I also find her being this cool despite only being seen really now as a character sorta sad, Jaehon has character they just didn't complete an arc for him all that well and he's mostly monologue…Oswald is good because of his philosophy and points but he really did have a not super great fight? Argalia is smug and obviously well defined but I also don't find him too interesting as a character, not my favorite archetype, and his fight is boring because it's designed to be soloed by roland. And Philip's arc is just fascinating to observe and seeing what he's reduced to, a husk, is sick. I think the ensemble's strongest element is the designs, because what they represent for the larger story is awesome, but I do wish they were better fleshed out.
