40 Gedanken zu „UNOBTAINABLE items being craftable in WoW patch 10.1.5 – Ziqo rants“
  1. Also forgot to mention it in the video but what is even the point of the Black Market if the items on there will just be re added as craftable items in the future? Why spend millions on items that are extremely hard to farm or straight up unobtainable if they are just gonna become something u can craft in the future? Makes me trust buying anything on there way less. What do you think?

  2. They have to re add s9 elite pvp gear too because I deleted it because xmog didn't exist….

I hate the new generating of gamers who want everything. such whiny little brats tbh.

  3. Myself scarab lord Og player since vanilla beta, having icebane plate, corrupted ashbringer amongst everything else collected with my 34k achievement points ended up stop playing this fall. Having more friends also ditching the game for this reason. It’s not worth putting time into and mmo where putting time gets you rekd.

Probably end up finding a new sandbox or something. It’s very sad.

People won’t even use the items, all this does is devalue the items and that’s about it.

  4. I agree that giving for free collector items is lame, but I think making them obtainable is a good thing. And I'm not talking about BMAH, which is to me a very unhealthy mechanism where people can inject real money and transfert so they can snipe every low pop / new players servers… It's not my vision of the game. I think the new mage tower was a decent design, the transmog can be obtained through some kind of a skill challenge

  5. I think C.ashbringer has more of a place not being added then some random shoulders that you can craft.

And just because you haven't seen anyone wearing those ugly shoulders doesn't mean you're the only one with em 😅

  6. It's not just the fact that they readd this, it's also the fact that there is so much praise and cheering for it that is mind blowing to me. The vast majority of the playerbase are new players that started with Legion, BfA or Shadowlands. They joined when handouts and getting almost everything for barely any work or even for free was already an established game design. They're completely out of touch with the 0,0001% of old players who still play retail.
I could go on like this but the main point I'm trying to make is that there can not be two opinions about this. If they add those pieces, it'll just add another slippery slope. It's a terrible decision but due to the terrible new playerbase this game has, it'll make it live. Thank god classic exists. It's going downhill as well but at least it's still somewhat enjoyable compared to the total abomination retail has become. Imagine spending countless hours to get tier 3. Ungodly amounts of gold spend. Only for Blizzard to add it for free basically just a couple years later. It is unbelievable to me how anyone could defend this shit.

  7. 💯 % agree. It completely devalues the item itself as well as my personal time and effort that I put into getting it in the first place. For someone to come along behind me and buy it, or get it with little to no effort is like a slap in the face. Let iconic items stay iconic. If you weren't around to get the item when it was available, or you didn't want to put the work in to get it, too bad for you.

  8. People going to wear these mogs for a week and realize they were only cool because people that had them meant they had something very rare. They dont look amazing (they were made in classic of course). And now the mog is ruined for anyone who was wearing it because it meant something very sad to see.

  9. The fact that they are already giving the spectral tigger cub in the mounthly reward is a joke . I m afraid of seeing the real spectral tigger for free aswell at some point XD. Just hoping glad mounts are still gona be unique.

  10. They are even adding the previously unobtainable from original Naxx inscription recipes. I demand Blizz fix this to not allow someone to so easily get something nobody at all has

  11. in my opinion, they see FFXIV and all the content being available no matter what time you start playing, and see that as a good thing, you can have hard to obtain transmog without it being unobtainable or requiring $200 dollars of real money per piece of t3 and massive amounts of time looking for said items on BMAH, the systems we had before were shit, them just handing out is shit too, and timewalking is ez as fuck and nowhere near no echo stuffs in ffxiv.

  12. I spent millions on some of these items now they are just going to be in the ah. Wow umm cool I guess but like wtf man just shit on people that spend mad money and time mind you for these rare items. I’ll just have to find a new mog set for my mage and lock now. Had lock sitting in frost fire set and mage in plague set soon to be not unique and easily obtainable. Time to out the pitchfork and blue overalls back on. SMH

  13. so you're just mad your millions of gold views gave you for free was wasted? lol. no one cares dude. I got many old promo mounts or removed items myself because ive been playing wow since 2005. many items I owned were readded and i dont give a shit. imagine crying over newer players who never even played wow back then being able to have these rare items and making your e penis smaller.

  14. should be recolours. all these tcg mounts and stuff theyre giving away should be recolours. ezpz solution. if something is a "limited time item" it should stay that way.

  15. you can still hold onto "muh og!" status by telling people you got your previously mega rare mog items the old fashioned way. idk maybe it's lost the shine for me but i have plenty of unobtainium in WoW and wouldnt give a single fk if people got more access to it. it doesnt make anyone special, the memories are though and we still have those. + you in particular are already one of the best pvpers to touch the game: when does the notoriety (for lack of a better word) start to DR?

  16. To add to this, it's so fucking cringe how they made the mythic Aberus mount be able to drop on all difficulties. It used to be cool to see someone on the mythic mount the first month into the patch. Now you have windowlicker Dave getting it on lfr doing 4k dps. It's pathetic how they are appealing to this new consumer mindset where you want to get everything and want to get it NOW, without realising that the appeal of most rare stuff is the fact that it is just that, rare.

An example – paladins have a corrupted ashbringer tmog from legion with different tints and a higher res model but people don't give 2 shits about that since everyone can go and easily get it. People don't care that much about how an item looks, they care if it's impossible or hard to obtain. Making stuff readily available to everyone to get with low effort is so fucking pointless.

  17. Nobody seemed to care about the re-added ZG recipes and item/mogs with 10.0.7, but as soon as T3 and Drops from Naxx40 are back on the menu shit is going wild, really makes you think what the "real" problem is.

  18. Lol i remember when they gave red pvp weap enchant to everyone who reached 2k instead of 2.4k as a rollback to mop. Pissed me right off, same shit they devalue things for the casuals

  19. I think someone that was a wow player but didn't get those items in the past was moved up to a developer & lead role in the Development team and doesn't know the value of Legacy items being unique to players that completed the content when it was current.
There's no reason for the TCG items or formerly removed armor sets to be returned.
Might as well make all the elite gladiator gear craftable, maybe even give Inscription the ability to create removed titles.
The Undying would be cool to have now

  20. Once it's craftable and alot of people have it, it's not going to be attractive to people anymore. People who spent alot of gold and effort to get these get kicked in the face. If you truely wanted the tier 3 for example, you'd spend the time and gold on it. And yes it could take years to complete a full set but that's what people did. The sets are already obtainble but apparently that's not good enough, must be even easier to obtain!!!! Good vid, Ziqo.

  21. I agree with some of the points here, but not all. I don't think Naxx40 items are "trophies". These items could be, and were, easily farmed in TBC. A trophy, to me, is something you earn, like a gladiator mount, scarab lord, pandaria challenge mode mogs, etc.. Naxx40 items were not earned, they were braindead farmed in TBC and just became artificially scarce items due to Blizzard removing them for no reason in late TBC. They were never difficult to get your hands on, as long as you played in TBC.

What does piss me off, however, is them adding Plagued Protodrake to BMAH. While this wasn't the hardest thing to do, it was EARNED, which in my book means it was a trophy. I'd be just as pissed if they add the MoP CM mogs back, or gladiator mounts, or Black Protodrake. And yeah, these are not 1:1 comparable, but to me these all fall under the "trophy" umbrella.
