  1. great vid, but you make me scream at the monitor… STOP throwing away silt and slush, you can finda crafting station called an extactanator, you run your silt/slush through it and it gives you gems, various ores, money and an occasional rare item.

  2. the dye can be used to change the color of your equipped items and armor, just place it into the first row, the lightest green one, of the equip slots in the crafting menu. Those strange plants are rare and the dye-seller can give a lot of really cool colors for them ^0^ love your videos!!!

  3. The dye can be put in the blue slots next to your armor and vanity slots to change the color of things that appear on your body. Reflective Silver dye makes your armor /vanity look like its silver and shiny

  4. Hey Mathas, just a few tips:

Keep lead/iron if you want to build things like a mine track or a fishing pond. There's a lot of uses to it besides crafting armor. I would also suggest building a mine cart as it moves faster than the default one on the rails.
Edit: As of how much I've played right now, lead and stone are the only two things i have been constantly running out of throughout the game.

Fallen stars can be put in your ammo slot for extra space in your inventory. There's a weapon later that uses them, even if it isn't terribly great.

In expert mode, the Eye of Cthulhu has about 800 more health and double the damage of normal mode.

You can use items from your inventory without equipping them to your hot-bar by just clicking outside of the inventory.

If you get a fire arm, such as a flare gun, and keep it on you until somebody comes and save up for 35 gold. You'll probably enjoy the reward.

Silt and slush can be used in an extractinator for random ores, gold, and gems. You can find an extractinator just sitting around the world somewhere.

You can mine the dynamite on the ores and it wont explode. On the other hand if you go to the far edge of the detonator away from the dynamite, you can activate it safely and blow up a good chunk of the ore.

There is a giant choochoo worm waiting to terrify you in the corruption. If you take bombs with you, you can reach shadow orbs and once you destroy three he spawns. It is also likely that a firearm will drop from the shadow orbs as well.

Any dyes you have can be placed on the left side of the equipment (dyes, social, equipment) to change the color of your armor, accessories, pets, mounts, minecarts, or grappling hooks.

I do realize that a lot of this may be repeated or have been said more than once, but it might be nice to have all the tips in one area. Love your videos and hope it helps.

  5. MathasGames Since you've had the hiccups in several videos I thought I would share this. The ridiculously simple trick I use for getting rid of the hiccups (which, as far as I know, has worked 100% of the time for other people too): take a deep breath and exhale, take another deep breath and hold it as long as you reasonably can (you'll get a little light-headed, but you might still hiccup here) exhale and take another deep breath and hold it again.

  6. Mathas please clear your damn inventory before going underground. Srsly man, one could think you're a scrub. The slit blocks can be put through a extractinator for all kinds of early game goodies, hold on to them, don't throw them away.
