He's right though, power shots have helped me and my tm8s keep the ball on the opponents side

im still in diamond but I agree with this. In that rank and lower ive found that people have a very hard time reacting to fast shots towards the net, and they also dont react well when the ball is blocked and stays on our side.

powershots and backpost rotation alone will get you out of plat if you have a brain at your disposal
I love your videos and tips. But you can't say speed flip is the best mechanic under GC and then in another video you say it's a power shot. There cant be two best mechanics it's one or the other

Agreed. a lot of my friends I play with are hard stuck Diamond and this the biggest thing. They simply can’t hit the ball well
