I have air roll left on square and air roll right on circle too but I even adjust at ground with it i only mess up when using joystick air roll for it but it works fine So u need to tell why xD
I have both directionals and can use both for recoveries, on wall and off wall wave dashes and air roll shots. Honestly never use joystick except for the end of a speedflip don't see the need to change either since with directional you can put more inputs in shorter time.
Yea this shit is gross and grimy and even my fingers typing this disagree. But I would love to see you play, I’m sure it’s fucking majestic to see it all work out.
I use joystick or "default" air roll. Just use what youre comfortable with. There is NO advantage to using one over the other. Im ssl/gc3 in 3s and 2s. So thats your evidence lol.
Its not that deep. If you ask me, i use air roll right for half flips only. Im good enough using air roll right in the air, but i rather use what got me into ssl in the first place
Im a keyboard mouse warrior and use q or e for long air dribbles n shift+d/a for mechanics that include a powerslide landing, these are usually short corrections
How do you train someone with 5k hours to learn directional air roll? I play with default controls minus air roll on l1 and any time I try changing my binds I feel like I could be beat by a bronze player.
No purpose for regular air roll. Bind both ARL and ARR one on each bumper. Commit and learn

Why is this your rule. I stopped using joystick air roll completely a while back and wondering if that's a long term issue.
I reached gc using joystick air roll and using air roll left for some other stuff.
I am on KBM and I have both air rolls bound because I find it easier than to use my mmb on my mouse to power slide/airroll
L1 is my E brake and Air Roll
does anyone realise how when he was explaining directional air roll he got an insane pinch?
I don't use directional airroll I am a left airroll main and rarely use right airroll just for recoveries if I can't recover with left
Hi I suck at doing anything please me

Hey can you do a tutorial how to do a soft touch in air dribble? Because i cant do it
This is exactly how i play lol
Good tips but did the Ariel pinch go in!!!!
I’ve never used joystick air roll wtf am I doing so much wrong? I’m champ how will this effect the economy of Belgium??
Yea this shit is gross and grimy and even my fingers typing this disagree. But I would love to see you play, I’m sure it’s fucking majestic to see it all work out.
2.6k hours literally can’t use air roll left and right I can’t control it
i missing the WHY.
just saying i recommend is not enough.
im already doing that way but your opinion on why it is so would be good 🙂
So what's your powerslide?
Bro why directional is just better joystick airoll sucks
Directional air roll on LB and right air roll on RB, is there a reason to have both left/right air roll?
Why? Just seems like extra steps
I just have directional on right joystick and life is perfect!
I use keyboard and mouse and im currently champ
And which button you use for boost?
nah but why he gotta say GROUND like hes talking to… yknow

i have no idea what this video is talking about 😂

i dont use directional air roll at all
How do you train someone with 5k hours to learn directional air roll? I play with default controls minus air roll on l1 and any time I try changing my binds I feel like I could be beat by a bronze player.
My rule: use air role however you want as long as it doesnt effect whatever you are trying to accomplish.
And the nitro button is?
I can’t imagine changing my keybinds AGAIN 😂
very good tip, i've been doing this subconciously since i binded directional air roll i thought it was obvious
Dawg what i have normal controls
ive only used joystick
I recommend you take a shower
That s a good one even for keyboard players that are using Q and E and also Shift
I’m gc and never used directional air roll. However still a good tip
What other situations is using joystick air roll preferable? Like idk when to and when not to use it in shooting, passing, etc
Cries in KBM*
Is this weird but im c2 -c3 and i use both air rolls on my triggers?
Directional air roll is so much better than stick air roll lmao
