  1. 64: is kinda meh, only really good against Jigglypuff and Japan
Melee: was really good but is now currently a mid tier
Brawl: why are you not using the far superior Zero Suit?
4: started off as complete trash but eventually became a good mid tier and excellent secondary
Ultimate: was complete trash but got buffed and is good again. Currently she is on her way to becoming a high tier, maybe even one day a top tier if she gets more buffs

  2. I started smash with smash 4 on my friends Wii U and my first main was Samus. Flash forward to ultimate, Samus is still a character I play from time to time and this video was very interesting to watch. I’m not that involved with the competitive community and have only attended one tournament so this was very new to me and cool! Thanks for this video!

  3. I main her since Brawl, but I honestly doubt she'll ever break the top tier. She has really good match up spread, but Wolf, Palutena, Olimar and Pikachu really make her struggle. She's not consistent enough against them for her to be top tier

  4. I'm so happy you mentioned jouske. When isai was thought of as clearly best in the world, jouske beat him in a 12 character battle and he was dominating Japan who's scene was and still is far ahead of the west

  5. When Melee came out, my friends and I were hooked. I love the Metroid series, so Samus was one of the characters I played most. I thought I was better with Mario or Bowser, but every time I picked Samus, you'd hear my friends groan. They knew shit was about to get real. I was like, "What? I feel like I'm better with Mario." "No, dude. No." It was interesting to learn from this video that she ranked so low throughout the series. Never would have guessed. Cool video, man.

  6. Any shit brain dead player can play samus, unlike a lot of projectile spammers hers actually has decent damage and knock back. She can also stuff you out super easy with her Fair, Literally anyone can be good with her.

  7. Man I wish these were the types of players I found online nowadays in Smash Ultimate
    But instead we meet Spamus
Camping Samus players that are so dependent on their projectiles that they don't know how to handle 1 on 1 combat
They just make the game ANNOYING
I have to always chase them the entire stage when they run away to shoot their projectiles

  8. As a Samus main who competes in smash 64 competitive and smash ultimate competitive. I’ve pushed Samus and have videos for it. Samus can be the ultimate machine of mix ups at times. Excited to see new Samus main push samus offline. I can certainly translate online and offline.

  9. You keep saying "Nintendo" doesn't know what to do with Samus, or that "Nintendo" patched the game. Nintendo published the game and licensed the characters, but did not develop the game. Smash Bros Ultimate was developed jointly by Sora Ltd and Bandai/Namco.

You could at least say "Sakurai," the name of the game's director. "Nintendo" just sounds uninformed. It bugs me.
