My crew and I are quite bad at open combat, so we try and be stealthy a lot of the time. Emphasis on 'try.' Perhaps you could make a stealthy guide? Of all the streamers for Sea of thieves I watch you are the best at tucking and generally going unnoticed on enemy ships.
It's not so much they're mad that you stole their treasure so much is that treasure is a stand-in for all the time they put in acquiring it you're stealing their time and effort
I still think pursuers that kill their prey after sinking is them being mother fucking saltier than a Galleon loosing loot, YOU HAD NOTHING BUT YOUR DUMB FLAG… you lost nothing, can't even take a GG cause they lost… They just never expected you to board the one they were assisting and use their relaxed state to catch them
One tactic that can be used to help outrun an enemy and is completely reliant on its spawning but if a Meg spawns on you while you're being chased if you harpoon it while it is going straight it will continue to go straight and it will pull you if it's already turning it'll pull you in circles
Hi Hitbo, my thoughts about the format: -1- Great idea, super informative and it helps getting in your mind and your creative tactics 👍 -2- I found the sound of the stream (particularly your voice) disturbing during the voiceover. Maybe mute it entirely? -3- you have the absolute best SoT contents but your homemade edits just aren't on par with that. I really wish you'd crank up the quality like Boxy does with TrueEdits. 8:49 i just did that. i was escaping 2 reapers (one in front, one in the back) and i anchor turned into a little nook between 2 rocks that just barely hid my mast from the 2 reapers. the one chasing me passed by and started firing at the other reaper while i set sail for the nearest outpost and cash out

My favourite thing ISNT escaping.. the other day me and my brother met this Brig and they were friendly but started being nasty as time went on… so we loaded all their loot onto our sloop when they were on an island…. Then told them about it… they were furious and chased us for over an hour.. mainly because we put all the loot on the back canvas in their sight and just sailed against the wind, raising sails if we got too far from them, and using harpoon turns to out manoeuvre them and use the brigs speed against them… we were pretty much seeing how close we could get to them without them being able to harpoon loot, always just out of reach.. we danced while playing the annoying Chug Jug fortnite song, told them to watch us play pass the parcel between each other with their loot through their spy glasses, started adding up the value and telling them our score, laughed, trolled a a lot.. hilarious…. Then we sunk them after we got bored… twice lol. Great times

Context: we did an ashen winds with a alliance brig(order of souls)My crew was a sloop(gold hoarders)
What happened: after we finished they just wanted the ashen winds skull and other skulls. We faked our departure, with me staying on the island. And luckily nobody was on their ship. I found the Ashen Winds skull, tucked until my buddy came circling the island, then they harpooned me, we sailed away, dropping the alliance halfway through our trip to the farthest outpost we could find.
TLTR: Stole ashen winds skull after finishing an ashen winds from alliance. Drooped alliance and then sold.

People tend to be bothered when their loot is stolen because it's "Stealing"…Did your parents not teach you basic morality? Now I get that it's a game and the loot is fake but you end up stealing people's real time in place of the digital loot. Which many working folks can't get back. Not everyone is a streamer with hours to play so for lots of folks you stole that guys one shot to progress that day or that week. Shame on ya.
I love your videos, but damn I can't focus on anything you're saying while you're letting the sounds of your gameplay be on at the same time as you're narrating what you're doing. Why keep the audio from the gameplay even on if you really want to narrate something and get a message across. It's like having 2 tv channels on at the same time. Otherwise great content!

The ability to maneuver is what you have to master if you want to be able outplay the bigger ships. I’m proud when I anchor them behind an island and get some distance. This stuff was next level. The rigging ball chainshot combo is good to know as well. Great video! Very helpful
The Fort plays are key for me when I'm solo. Countless times I've sunk or at least extremely slowed the enemy thanks to it.
