Lees right, feels like theyre trolling. This game is losing my interest quickly with its dysfunctionality. Other games releasing are making fans leave with ease.

The most galling thing about this is their silence. Usually we know what the next raid will be by Monday and they aren't saying anything, and they aren't even giving updates to let us know they care at all.

DLC dates on the eShop have not changed. These are the latest legal dates that these purchased items will be available. December is mostly fall- winter starts 12/21.

Yeah, it's pretty clear that Khu had legitimate info. And I'm sure that tweet was also legitimate at one point. It's obvious, for some undisclosed reasons, they just keep pushing the date back. But I do believe the 19th and the 24th were scheduled dates at some point. At this point it would go a long way if they were just transparent about why all this shit keeps happening. People might get mad. But not angrier than just saying nothing and repeatedly canceling or delaying everything with very very little communication.
If Lee is right, then basically GameFreak didn't figure out something fairly basic (or needed to distribute Paradox Pokemon in the Pokedex by a different event). There was an easy solution that was a quick fix. Just add Booster Energy items to that slot. Some of the Paradox Pokemon in the wild carry that item anyway (even though it is nominally a 1 of 1 item in that you get only one Booster Energy guaranteed–the one tied to the bully Koriadon/Miraidon.)

I really really can't believe that they are delaying Pokemon Home on purpose😒seriously it's like the Pokémon Company International can't make their mind up properly because this isn't fair as we have been waiting for seven months for the update of Pokemon Home and now we will have to wait longer.
I just think that Gamefreak & The Pokémon Company need to get a bigger development team to keep things running a lot more smoothly. I don’t know what the major glitch is and why they’re delaying the company dealing with Pokémon Home more . If it’s that much of a issue get more people to work things out before release or don’t do yearly releases . Do more episodes on one region and get us use to the new protagonist. Don’t put more stress on the current team to get a side or Gen game out in 2023 or 2024.
Part of me felt a little bad for them, but now, they're just fucking with people on purpose, their company is a damn mess
Pokémon has NO. EXCUSE. They are a $92 BILLION+ (USD) media franchise. They have the resources and the capital to do better, and no amount of mental gymnastics will change that fact. Poor development/optimization IS a problem money can fix. Hire more manpower. Build an entire new development center for crying out loud. A top of the line development studio costs millions of dollars… less than 1% of TPCI’s total wealth. Scarlet and Violet are nothing short of appalling games. Pokémon has NO. EXCUSE.
Maybe if they focused more on the solid, single player and trade video games they used to make rather than gimmicky weekly events, multiplayer raids and season tournaments then they'd still be able to release a solid title. Too much of their focus is on ongoing events and not enough on the primary experience. This isn't CoD and it needs to stop trying to be.
Remember that there's been a turnover in execs too.

I never went online after round one and was able to keep farming Chesnaught the entire time. I've done that with EVERY raid since Cinderace because of how glitchy EVERYTHING has been. It's time we get a better developer, because the issues are CLEARLY all with GF; look at TotK, the Switch is an AMAZING console. There's NO reason we can't have a Pokemon game that looks and plays THAT well. It's time for us to demand that GameFreak HAS to go and that TPC CLEAN up their FFFking act.

On the topic of the date for the DLC. Checking the email for my code to unlock everything, it does say the bonus lasts until 31/10/2023. Maybe someone who has more recently purchased the DLC can check if that date is the same or reflects the "new" date on the store.
Am aware this could just be an unrelated end date. But would expect the pre-order bonus to go right up to the release

I also thought they’d be better off just doing remakes or remastered Pokémon games. I actually dreamt about working for GameFreak but my mom crushed that dream. But now perhaps it’s all for the best. 🫤

The person with that ungradeable charizard was actually trying to get a PSA 1 which ironically is super rare. It’s MORE COMMON for a card to be deemed ungradeable or a 2+ than giving it exactly a 1. So in a weird way psa 1s are sought after items as they are super hard to come by. Great episode guys!
I lost faith in the Pokémon company and after Scarlet I will no longer support them. It’s the principle they originally said early 2023. It’s almost June and than followed up with we’ll have it by Spring and still haven’t gotten anything. Like they word means shit and I’m not about to keep wasting my time trying to put faith into this company anymore
Be transparent – exactly. If GameFreak was just up front and honest that theyre encountering some problems and need to postpone events and Home for a while to protect people’s save data, I think a lot of people wouldn’t be too bothered. Trust is lost at this point, and I went back to playing Legends Arceus until DLC comes out and its confirmed there are no issues. I feel like GameFreak is going to have to provide a giveaway or two at this point to restore some happiness in customers, shiny Koraidon/Miraidon please lol
Well Lee threw away Violet even though about the DLC I got tired of all the bugs and crashes and this new bug was the Last Straw

December most certainly is Fall until the 21st. Also as far as business’ go there is only a early 2023 and a late 2023. There is no “mid 2023” any home release before June 21 would fit both their descriptions of Spring and early 2023
so im thinking its best that they delay their games & as for the anime altho not popular opinion they can always do another Orange island arc you kno a few filler to let gf cook a decently good game

I agree with Lee that SV has mechanics and features that appeal past it being solely a “kid’s game” but I still feel the game leaves a lot to be desired. Going back and playing PLA and Shield, I like those storylines wayyy more. SV storyline and script seemed a bit dull and redundant at times. Also, the art style and graphics of the PLA world is absolutely stunning!! SV’s art and graphics seem a bit cartoonish and simplistic (though maybe that’s what they intended). Finally, I think what Scott mentioned last pod about actual voice acting is a great idea. At least for key cutscenes. A hybrid of voice in key scenes and the classic text boxes everywhere else would be a great mix.

So I just looked at Pokémon Home's maintenance alert they give you in the mobile app today and it says there's a 6 hour planned maintenance and then we will have to update to 3.0.0. I believe this is when we will get the update for home compatibility
Edit: forgot to add that it said the maintenance is on the 30th, which is 5 days from today
I believe that almost all podcast channels use a separate 'clips' channel for short snippets from the larger podcasts.
Could be something to consider, there's probably a reason why they make it a separate channel (video duration messing with the algorithm?)
