  1. UPDATED MY COMMENT!

1.) You do NOT need a multishot bow, regalur bows work fine.
2.) Only the first time going out of the menu and back into it has to be fast! The 2nd time is just for dropping bow + selecting the new one
3.) It does NOT matter what bow you use, every bow has the same difficulty!
4.) Some items are harder to dupe than others. I would say Diamonds are super easy, Naydras Hors are medium and the hardest item by far would be the Large Zonaite.
5.) Make sure that u have a sword + shield equipped, this makes this glitch way easier to pull off for some reason.

I think the shape of the item and also the type of animation link uses to put it back into the pocket ways into the difficulty of duping the item.

Did 100 diamonds now in 12min, thanks alot for this, once u get the hang if it every other try works fine.

  2. If you're emulating the game (or have a way to cause frame drop on your Switch) it's a lot easier to do with less than 30fps. Disable your 30 or 60fps mod on your emu so the game runs at 20 fps while you do this and you'll have a much easier time.

  3. i'm a little stuck in the materials menu (opening the menu with + will always open the materials tap) any solutions for this problem?

EDIT: ok changing your location and waiting for an autosave fixed it for me.

  4. it may be important to know that any living material such as bugs, lizards and fish cannot be duped with neither the arrow nor the shield fusion method. im really interested in how there is going to be a way for those

edit: fairies count for that too!

  5. After extensive testing the 2 main things for it to work are 1. being quick enough on the 1st ++. you can tell if done fast enough by the item your duping showing up on your 2 bow after you have equipped it and 2. Both bows have to be EXACTLY STACKED on each other, doesn't matter how fast you do it if they are not stacked it will not dupe

  6. What I've surmised is that you need to be really fast. I mean really fast. The diamond might look like it's still on the bow but that doesn't always mean you were fast enough. Go somewhere with frame dips so the timing is a little easier, but from what I can tell it is nearly frame perfect, perhaps with a single frame of leniency.

The bows being on top of each other also does not necessarily mean you were fast enough. It does require being faster than just getting the diamond to show up on the second bow, but still not as fast as actually duplicating the item.

  7. Use ++ over +B, and you have to hit it really fast. But not so fast that it doesn't register. The "rhythm" everyone is talking about is the ++ part, that's the only spot where timing or speed matters at all. It was much easier on my gamecube pro controller. The joycon button is just too small to do this reliably.

  8. For those who’ve tried this already and now can’t seem to get it work, please remember that you need a weapon and shield equipped so that this method works. It won’t work if you don’t have both on your back. Hope this helps:
