So the problem is Twitch Plays is not designed to do hold inputs plus other inputs. As a result it is virtually impossible to do SMB3 because, if nothing else, you cannot build P Speed. IDK if they could have cleared the big gap past the 3 goombas in 1-1 for instance

I think to really make this work you would need to have chat contribute inputs like a TAS. Chat would have to give a frame number along with the input, and then you could keep replaying the current snapshot as people continue to contribute improvements

– Up+Jump
– left+up+Jump

And also a trigger
-Hold Run (on-off)
