  1. I feel obligated to ask who these critics are that they couldn't see any changes between another age and ac3. New graphics engine removal of most lag new story refinement of mechanics ability to fight along side other ravens and mts better hit boxes?

Also feel obligated to point out a lot of people prefer the psp version of formula front.

  2. Which one was your favorite?…I think armored core 3 made huge leaps but the series really went out with a bang with Last Raven it's definitely not noob friendly tho but that's why you played the previous ones and by Last Raven you're a pro…All of them have their high points for me but if i had to chose which one was the best I'm going with Armored core 3.

  3. "Professional" Critics are $hit. We have seen that in the past decade with every single Triple Shame Release. Broken games, bad games, stupid games. And Crits paise these overpriced $hit games.
And games who are actually good or have potential, where the Users like the game idea, the Crits stomp it for the most blatant reasons.

Also Video game/Product critiques are not opinions when you are Legit Product Tester. Because of Facts! Facts can be measured. And the moment it can be measured it is not an opinion! Graphics, Performance, Game Mechanics, Story. All of that, can be measured!
The problem is, most people can't differenciate anymore between a bad product and something they have fun with.

For example, i had my fair share of fun with Skyrim. But that doesn't mean Skyrim is a good game. In the contrary, its a massive pile of bull$hit from basically every single game design aspect you can name.
It can hardly be called an "RPG". Thats how little rpg is left in Skyrim. Its a piss poor open world adventure game with a blatantly dumbed down underdeveloped skill system. The stories in this game are trash. No other word for that. The main Story is a joke of a running gag, such a travesty.

Red Ded Redemption 2 and Breath of the Wild are two of the worst games of this decade. Many people love these games. But when you start to disect the game mechanics and how badly they function and with how little respect they treat the players time. Its factually bad design.
When your walking speed is halved inside camps and other settlements for no Plot Reason, thats bad game design, because its annoying and robs you of your free time. Speaking of zero respect for the customers time.
When you call for your horse, but the game says the Horse is too far away. Then why the hell do i even need a Horse in in the first place, in those video games?

When the so called "Realism" is put above actual game mechanics who should alleviate problems/annoyances etc. and not perpetuate them!! That is bad game design.
Because at the End of the Day wa are still playing a game. And not fantasy simulations who aren't real to begin with! And the list goes on and on.

I could continue with the Witcher 3 and how the suspenion of disbelieve is utterly crushed by their piss poor pseudo RPG Leveling system. Or how poor Geralts movements and animations are. Or that you get stuck in combat animation limbo etc. etc. etc.

  4. A couple years ago, a local retro games vendor literally begged me to buy Armored Core Nexus from him. I told him I wasn't really into mech games, but he asked $23 for the game, which was in like new condition. I bought the game and now it sells for an average of $200 at ebay. I can't believe my luck.
