  1. Loved the video! If you're going into it with a friend whose running the Arboliva/Sunny Day combo, the other person could run Leafeon with the ability Leaf Guard so it would not avoid getting status conditioned. That would free up to maybe run a Shell Bell held item instead of the Covert Cloak.

  2. The cinderace and greninja raid has taught me one thing and that was to never prep early i remember before Greninja came everyone was preparing ground types then guess what happen the bitch had ice beam

  3. I'm going to be trying an Appletun. The one i built has Quiet nature, max ev in SpAtk and the remainder in defenses. Ripen ability holding Cheri/Sitrus Berry. Moveset goes: Sunny Day, Recycle, Apple Acid & Giga Drain.
It might benefit from a fake tears teammate, but that's unknown at the moment

  4. I just did this raid.
It starts off with shields right away as soon as the raid starts and does have lightening rod as it's ability.
It also starts off with a rain dance and uses moves like thunder, surf, iron tail and play rough.
Also fun fact when you catch it has a light ball too.

  5. Just for info, it sets up shield at full health, and then sets up rain into dealing half your HP with surf before you get to click an attack, Status moves are pointless and you deal 1 HP outside of terastallization.

  6. I don't want to burst peoples bubble. But I tried strength sap but it's immune to that for some reason. No idea if that's a bug but it doesn't work in my game. Just like any other status effect. The intimidate ability seems to work but moves that only change stats don't.

  7. Jesus, this guide is horrible. Most of the builds doesn't take into account that status moves dont work in this case. The details of the raid were leaked 2 days ago and this guy didn't even check them…

  8. Little tip guys, while this Pikachu can remove his debuffs, he won't remove your buffs. I did 3 battles against him (Only 2 were successful, on the 2nd attempt I ran out of Earthquakes. It was probably a combination of my Clodsire getting unlucky rolls and one of my allies being Arboliva, therefore Pikachu would heal too, so I decided to replace Leftovers with Metronome so Earthquake would get stronger with each consecutive use) and he didn't get rid of my buffs on any of the attempts. So you're honestly better off not using any stat dropping moves and replacing it with an offensive move.

  9. Already had Meowscarda at 100 and EVs to Physical, so you can still do it with this strategy, and use the same logic but using Hone Claws and Flower Trick. HClaws powers up attack (I went to +3) and Flower Trick always crits. Same results but didnt have to move to Special Attack from the build I already had
