Tears of the Kingdom Direct + Zelda OLED kommt bald!?

Zelda is like crack in the 80s, it sells itself.

Is it even possible that tears of the Kingdom swill have a direct? They been quiet for a while and considering big plans for the Mario movie happening next month it is unlikely they have anything Zelda related ready with the hype from the community.

I have zero interest in that Mario cartoon. Looks like garbage.

If they do i hope its a new game also or a remake not some remaster or hd stuff

Strictly for marketing comparison, i feel like hogwarts had 3 lengthy game play promo's stretched over months and it still felt like they didnt even scratch the surface. Seeing nintendo be so "hush hush" about totk i kind of worry its just because theres not a lot to show BUT i dont think thats gonna be the case (fingers crossed)

I'm sorry but if they did a 3-hour dedicated direct to tears of the Kingdom, it's still garbage marketing. Us fans have been patient and waited for years with very little to go off of, we deserved better than a 30-day buildup. This should be an outright EVENT. Instead, less than two months out and there is barely a whimper. It's very disappointing.

You can put a prototype in fake packaging. Not saying that's what happened.

Didn't you guys already get the reveal date dead wrong? Where is your credibility? Where are you taking responsibility?

I bought a switch with breath of the wild and haven’t even had the urge to open it yet. I’m actually having way more fun with GameCube games like twilight princess, wind waker, Mario sunshine, Pokémon xd……. I’ll get to it eventually I guess then buy the expansion disk on may 12

I think you’re spot on with how Nintendo is marketing totk. I think with how excited we all to see more information we’ve been hoping for different. Even though it’s very unlikely at this point, I do really hope they have a press only demo at Pax to give you some more to work with to show off and share excitement for totk.

Imo, I think Nintendo is riding off the hype that BotW created and using that as its own way to promote TotK. I kinda like that we dont get too much info on the game bc it could ruin some of the game since much of it takes place in the same world we have seen before

I don't think you're way off base. You probably know more than I do. But this is what I'm thinking. Nintendo isn't going to do a direct for legend of Zelda tears of the kingdom until a week before the game comes out. And that's also when they will. This is where I agree with you. That's when they will announce the OLED model. I'm not quadruple tripping on Nintendo switches. Lol. But some people might. But the reason why I say that is because there is already so much hype around this game and all they really need to show is a little bit of how to start it out and we will all be geeking out. Maybe so the first 10, 20 minutes of the game. I don't expect a long direct. But I think it'll be a week before the game actually comes out on May 12th so it'll be around May 5th. Maybe the end of April? I don't know. But again it just goes back to all the hype. We've all built around it so that they don't need to do the marketing. We have done it for them. There's nothing better than free publicity.
