Gm Wulff bros
Love the podcasts, but can you lower the intro music volume? It's like a sonic blast to my ears
Scott the Woz will have fun checking all of his WiiU consoles.
😜
I’m with you on emulation. Only recently got into it but only to play games I can’t access anymore. Recently been playing Simpsons Hit and Run on the Steam Deck 😆
I booted up my Wii U after hearing this news the other day. And I got the error message after failing to update to 5.5.6. Now, after being able to update to 5.5.6, my Wii U is stuck on the initial loading screen. I cannot get passed it
HOLA BOBITOOOOOOO
You are now a key part of my daily routine, keep up the great work!
Love those WULFF boys
Wills weekly “heyyy” he does always tells me it’s gonna be a good day
My Black Wii U works great still.
Think they got a burgerology in port Jeff too. Expensive but goid
Mine works fine, reads CDs but the digital games that are already in the memory, trigger the error, maybe erasing and download them again, but it seems that updating the wiiu make them more prone to break.
Oi Bob. All the GBA hardware is baked into the DS hardware on the 3ds. GBA games running on VC isn't emulation its running on hardware. Nintendo likely just decided it wasn't worth it to finish off the software to run the GBA hardware in the DS side of the 3ds.
Hey Bob just an fyi Will and Wood (Nontendo podcast) sound quieter than you on the Spotify app. Not sure if it’s on you or them!
Watching the wulf bros on my sick day off of work. To go off an old comments point for the switch needing to be backwards compatible, it didn’t hurt the PS3 but also I could see Nintendo getting away with remasters.
Do a video on all the weird and whacky Pokemon transfer shenanigans and bring up the moral quandaries presented in The Prestige about cloning.
I've been playing Breath of the Wild for the past 4 days on mine in anticipation of the release of Tears of the Kingdom. Everything seems to be fine, but I've always installed games to an external hard drive. Hopefully everything stays OK lol.
sport red retroid flip reminds me of a pokedex, might get…. unfortunately….
Most important thing to download on your 3ds is Pokémon Picross so you can hack it and have all the games you can't buy
Not gonna lie my Red Wing boots are the only thing that got me through this damn snowstorm up to me knees.
I'd love one of the retroid pocket things but man I wouldn't even which one to get and with them coming out at this rate I'd get massive FOMO constantly.
Great work. Thanks for sending us over to Jesss. I enjoy her editing and humor for YouTube and how kind she is on streams with Twitch.
Nintendo closing the eShop with no official plans to make the eShop games available ANYWHERE ELSE is just the height of clown world. And no one holds their feet to the fire. How many Youtubers have made videos titled "BUY THESE ESHOP GAMES BEFORE THEY'RE GONE FOREVER" at this point? Stop rewarding Nintendo for shitty behavior.
Do a video submitting new games to Wata and see what grade they get. I'd love to see you rip them a new one in your classic NewYorker style. You'd probably need to do it secret shopper style.
Regarding the 3DS eShop / Pokemon issues, I have been mucking around with this for the past few days. I ended up buying all the 3DS games digitally, as I never owned them before, and for the Bank I downloaded that as well, and paid the $5 for the subscription. My understanding is that having the subscription is the only way to get far enough in to the Bank app in order to download (for free) the Transporter app.
Based on Bob's logic I stopped watching Death Note after the first episode because the kid said he'd use it to rid the world of evil so I knew it was in good hands.
Some other stuff Bob checked out on early:
He stopped watching Star Wars when they left Tattooine because the movie was about hiring a ship.
He stopped watching Ocean's 11 when they hired the gymnast because the movie was about getting a heist gang together.
He stopped watching Avengers pretty quick because the movie was about Black Widow getting Bruce to join the team.
42:50 adding the arcade tracks would be sick. Unlikely tho…
Ttty
On the subject of backwards compatibility of the Switch 2: Nintendo should have a look at Steam. Steam games (like half-life 2) that you bought 20 years ago are STILL playable on whatever device you have today… that’s how it should be… (They have even added pre-steam stuff from the 90’s, like half-life 1 and Quake, on there)
Bob I know you aren’t the biggest Pokémon fan, but in the theory with Pokémon Bank is as follows. To download Pokémon Transporter you need a subscription to Pokémon Bank. If you can’t activate the subscription after the closure, you can’t download transporter which you need to get Pokémon from Gen 1-2 up to the 3DS era. Pokémon Transporter is a separate app that you can’t download directly from the eShop, it needs to open through the Pokémon Bank software much like many DLCs aren’t “found” on the eShop, but hidden through in software “links” TO the eShop.
Just wanted to let you know as somebody who has spent way to much time researching what games and apps to buy/download on the 3DS.
There actually IS GBA hardware inside the 3DS. The ambassador games run it from that hardware. People with hacked 3DS’s use a program to inject roms into the Virtual Console or use Open_agb_firm to utilize the hardware. mGBA is garbo cause it’s software emulation
The sticky thumbsticks happened to my PS2 controllers
my Wii u died from lack of use 🙁 had to buy a replacement on eBay
