Why is this even up for debate. U pay to get a chance to get a world class player. The more you pay, the higher the chance to obtain said player.
Of course this game is pay2win for us casual players or even the 24/7 junkies. Is really anyone doubting this? I am a gold 1 player and after saving 400k getting 91 rated de bruyne my whole game changed. This dude literally crushes teams on his own. He played 18 matches for me and did 20 goals AND 20 assists. This guy isn't even an icon and is dominating the midfield on his own. I am telling u…if I would have another 400k for kante or pogba I would probably go straight into elite 3 weekly. Already now i am managing 20 wins from 30 games.
Fifa needs a “Black top “ like 2k does where you pick any player and play against a friend at home. That would be lit.

I hear you on the pay to win FUT shit. I've spent absolutely nothing on the game for the past few years (buy it using gift cards) and have an above average gold team due to my incredible pack luck (packed an Icon and 93 Neymar), but I go up against below average FIFA players with a couple icons and they just have to press shoot and the ball goes in

I bought fifa 17 and skipped fifa 18. Just picked up fifa 19 in the playstation store sale and it really feels worse than fifa 17. Very dissapointed but now I know why its on sale.
Disagree on Fifa being a pay to win, there’s plenty of ways of earn coins fast and with the introduction of division rivals, there has never been a fifa where coins have been so easy to obtain. Example, Nepethez’s road to glory account.

Fifa is soo pay to win I have actually paid and still got shit cards to this day the best player I have ever gotten in a pack is luka modric who is worth 95k in about 4 years of playing fut I have spent probably around 300 on fifa points throughout this WHOLE time and not to mention packs from not paying. Fifa 20 21 27 34… Same shit. Because dumb cunts keep buying it every year. FIFA 13 was broken in many ways .. but the transfer market was very functional. I used to to trade in formation cards. Mainly 4132 – it was fun and everybody who played the market made a few coins. (41212 was worth top money) Anyway alongside that people used to do play challenges etc. It was a decent community.. Look it up.

I finally just gave up 🙂 Fifa 98 was my first one and i purchased every single one until fifa18. I'm proud of myself for it as well. I wish the rest of you could do it too and show EA we don't need them. UT ruined this franchise. UT is the most mindless thing , so stupid, heaven forbid those kids played Pro Clubs where you actually need a bit of knowledge and teamwork skills.
If i was president of a company and they told me we could improve something or we could ignore it and the morons still buy it, Of course I would save resources and Ignore it. Anyone who has ever purchased anything for their UT are the scums who pumped poison into this franchise. EA actually shows nearly no effort every year and have the gall to charge you for a new game every year. But who can blame them? If a bunch of morons are buying fantasy packs , why would they try? Good Job UT players, you really ruined this franchise. How on earth that Mode got over rather than pro clubs is a very sad thing. Just shows people just can't play with teamates, I assume UT players are the ones you see in Pro Club who try to walk through the whole team.

Its about time someone actually stood up for the game, im usually hating on EA like everyone else, but saying this years game is pay to win is completely wrong. I understand the bugs are annoying, but every game has bugs and these occur once in like every 2908653 games. The new division rivals is amazing and no one gives enough credit to EA for that. I have spent a total of £10 on the game this year, to get me started. I now have a team worth over 1.3 million. How? Playing the game rewards you, the game is PLAY TO WIN. Never mind all of the red players i have, worth over 600k. People need to really credit EA for the rewards system, because you wouldnt have been able to do this a couple years ago. Although what i do agree with is the hate directed at the lack of change and innovation in game modes such as pro clubs as i do love these modes. But to say the games pay to win is bullshit, i get 100k in coins, my player picks and my packs that have the potential to hit something amazing, but even if i get nothing im still Gaurenteed 100k min. If this was the case in previous fifas it would be crazy. The game is PLAY TO WIN.
Fifa is 100% pay to win. Last weekend league I played an esporter (bob van uden, ajax) and he basically won because of his team. He has reached 30-0 multiple times while he was not better and maybe even worse than me (i get elite 2 every weekend).

yes, yes it is, i have a 100 percent chem bundesliga team on fut, i get beat by players who have a team of icons etc purely because it feels because they have icons. I hate fut but its the only mode they keep up to date, i miss my pro clubs

i don't think it will be +10 speed to be bought. It will actually be 0.0001% chance of packing this option for certain amount of fifa points or something like that. If EA were giving something for certain it will be a massive improvements. For example you pay £20 and you get a Kante etc. This is exactly how wargaming is doing the micro-transactions and this makes their community actually happy of spending something unlike us
