  1. Most of the high end cards are expensive in japan and i ve never seen a card really come down in price the last 4y i ve been collecting. (only pokemon) However that s only for the chase cards. All the other cards are cheaper most of the time. And if you are looking for female trainer cards you need to check out the european market( cardmarket ) they are the cheapest most of the time.

  2. If u wanna buy the treasure cup zoro, let me know…. i went to niagara and did quite well in the tourney for treasure cup… next time u in canada or im in texas, i will show u the card, its beutiful way better than serial luffy… though luffy is way more expensive… lets talk more if u seriose about one piece collecting…. i play and i win lol

  3. Yea, l can see why you thought that it would be cheaper. It would make sense given the fact that a lot of exported goods tend to be more expensive than they are at home. Unfortunately, you took an L because lm assuming the plane ticket wasn’t cheap even if you had to pay half.

  4. My nephew from Japan arrive last week and bought a PSA 9 $45K Pokémon card here in the US. Went to Dallas to have it rated by Beckett to no avail. He was told before opening the seal, that the way it stands it cannot be guaranteed a 10. End of discussion. I buy MTG cards in Japanese much more cheaper than English rather using proxy. When it comes to Figurines, if it's not Made in Japan I won't pay the amount. 90% of the Anime products are Made in China. My solution go old school, older Gundams, Transformers, Macross and Voltes V.

  5. if you want to save money you're better off dealing directly with a seller based in japan without going through a marketplace, or just buying from japanese cardshops online and having the product shipped from a forwarder

  6. The days of good deals flying to Japan and buying cards is long gone. There are some established U.S. buyers that have been doing this for decades and have contacts still but it’s mainly vintage. Japanese auction sites have made the need to fly over for modern stuff irrelevant anymore. Good video to point out to new collectors, though. Thanks!
