42 Gedanken zu „L Entscheidung von BSG, LUT-Filter zu blockieren – Escape From Tarkov“
  1. Thinking of all the streamers and non streaming chad monsters, that clip kinda could be legit in some weird ways.🤷🏼‍♂️😄
(I wouldve hit that report button too tough)
Regarding the Filters.. Maybe Nikita just likes his game to be „dark“, but banning that filters kinda makes no sense. But prepare to get another Monitor soon, just in case they ban hardware too.😄

  2. Yeah, because it's perfectly fine to have people going into night raids like it's fucking daytime. Not saying BSG's decision is clever, just that people DO abuse settings (wether it's LUT filters, nVidia panel, Screen options…) to have an unfair advantage over people who don't tweak their game (be it because of ignorance or just sportsmanship) and that's disgusting. Night raids are supposed to be a handicap if you're not taking specific gear for them. Dark interiors, shadowy corners, etc… too. I know lighting is ass in Tarkov, and I know there are other major issues with the game that need addressing, but people tweaking light settings and not playing the game the way it's supposed to be are also cheaters in my eyes.

  3. Rust had the same problem. We all know everyone use these for game play advantages. It has nothing to do with making the game look better. The hardware argument doesn't matter either, BSG still has to acknowledge that this is used to change the games environment to make it easier.

And I've used filters before, mainly in Rust (the nights are soooo dark) and the monitor settings can't even come close to what a filter can do. That's such a bad argument man. BSG needs to combat cheating and unfair advantages they can do something about.

And for the record, Rust developers did ban certain mouse brands from being used due to their ability to script. So sometimes hardware is an issue and is addressed.

  4. It'd be more fair if everyone had the same disadvantages. The dark I would be completely fine with, if it weren't possible for people to brighten it as they do. I think the game should be dark for everyone, and I think it plays better dark. I think being able to make it bright is unfair and stupid. But it's also something we'll never be able to stop, so lowering the methods of doing so doesn't necessarily help unless they find a way to stop it entirely.

  5. Imo your take is dumb and reasonable at the same time. Because game was designed with pitch black spots in mind, you need to use a flashlight to see through these places. And people just filters the shit out of it. It's just the truth of any light mechanic. A lot of cybersport competitive players would do anything to get advantage even third party software that may be barely recognised as cheats.
I think that there are two main solutions for this problem: make a game brighter and more readable for cybersport dudes like any other game and start to lose game's identity more like r6siege some years ago, or make dark spots so hard edge pitch black that people wouldn't even have a chance to filter them.
I personally don't like how the game looks(graphics from 2012), but filters wouldn't change the whole image(only if you have no any sense of good taste), so, for me, most of the people just use this as an advantage trick, and not for the aesthetic purposes.

  6. “Having a high end PC is an unfair advantage.”

Literally no it isn’t. Is it an advantage? Yes. Is it unfair? No. You might not like the terms of the game you play, so play another game. You don’t get to decide you get to move twice as black in chess because of “broken turn order” or whatever bologna you make up.

Quit trying to justify your cheating with comparing it to a high dpi mouse or a high end computer. It’s childish and I have a hard time believing you’re really that stupid.

  7. Unfair advantage and Tarkov…..2 words that don't go together right, it's not like you know putting level 20s in a lobby with level 50s……that's completely fair isn't it. Yeh BSG have far bigger fish to fry and this is actually rather a bizarre decision especially as with your other examples as well as the general state if the game

  8. Imo BSG should not ban any filters as long as they allow any of them.
Or they should make Night Factory type of darkness on other maps aswell as i dont think there are any filters / dark reductions settings that can make Night Factory bright.

  9. ive seen people using luts on tiktok like a couple of months ago where the game is pretty much black and white but players and scavs glow purple so i think banning 3rd person luts and filters are good but the need to improve their filter selection. thats how everyone gets the same shit

  10. every piece of software that's not controlled by BSG is a problem. i understand why they did it. nvidia is a controlled company who agrees to the TOS of every company using GPU technology of their company. it's a law and a control/administration thing. no hard feelings but it's also exhausting to explain this to people who don't work in this field. sometimes professionals know better then players and users.

  11. bsg is focusing on the wrong problems … just to make them look like they are doing somethign right … currently i feel like they are ruining their reputation with baning people becouse their brightness settings was to high…

  12. I think its an unfair advantage. Not everyone wants to use 3rd party software, and if the software gives you a boost over someone who doesn't have it. Saying there is cheaters why can't I also get a boost doesn't make it better.
