In all fairness, if somebody is indeed just being a dumbass, it's really hard not to point it out. Even at this rank, there are people like me that have dreams of playing professionally one day. I don't condone toxicity under any circumstances whatsoever, but I will say that sometimes speaking up isn't necessarily toxic. Especially if the other guy has displayed toxicity in their play style. Even if they haven't said anything.
And nothing against you at all. Please do not take this the wrong way. But sometimes, certain phrasing can come across as a little bit condescending. That may or may not be intentional. And maybe they deserved it. They probably did. But in my personal opinion, that's only going to feed the toxicity. They already have an "I'm better than you" mentality, so having that so blatantly challenged will just put people on the defensive.
And… As for the "zzzzzzzzz" chat from your final tm8… I mean… You did purposely own goal… And he doesn't know you're secretly a retired pro that can dunk on the whole lobby at a moment's notice. His frustration was kind of understandable.

high c2 here, yes the toxicity is very common in this rank. So much so to where I barely want to solo q anymore and I have team only chat on because it affects the game so much sometimes. I just hit c3 for the first time and don't even want to queue

i love that i can see whats going on and what i need to do in lower ranks with leth doing this series, however it is leth and i only got into RL because of leth so im soooo confused. (in my head im like TAKE THE SHOT) lol i get it tho
stalling is fine if there actually rotating back.
I am finding a number of players in champ 1 staying up field waiting for a pass when I am in a 2v1.

I'm in Champ 2 in doubles. Past two days I've gotten teammates telling me I'm bad and too slow, all while they miss shots and ball chase. The best part is that at the end of the games we won and I had just as many goals and points. lol
