I'd swap mantle of the black wing cabal with band of forced concentration… Mages might want mantle for pvp and it will be a small upgrade for pve but its bis for aq40 and until naxx so it can wait for a little bit. And band is also a really good pvp ring id assume most pvpers will have ony ring by now, and kazzak ring is very hard to get, so yeah band works well for pvp and pve.
I don't know if I understand bad, but "Arcane Focus" reduce resist for Arcane Spells, not fire or frost right? each means if you send fireballs that 10% don't count! Right?
Wait – Ringo's are great because of the fact that you can skip Bloodvine boots and not have to pickup tailoring again for a good while. Firemaw's Clutch is our best in slot belt. How is that bad?
lmao our mage class leader wanted ringos boots and got them….. next patch he will go fire i got nef tear and the 2%crit head from nef too and the bracers and the shoulders from razorgore all from free roll pugs
Good point on blizzard boots, they become 1% hit boots once you go fire, I would take them as an offspec item, but their use once aq comes out is kinda limited
I agree with you about Firemaw's Clutch. I have to use a Firemaw just because I never saw a shade of Mana Igniting Cord ever. Once I get my hand of Mana Igniting I would sell the Firemaw to the NPC probably.

I wish you would explain more why frost spell power is bad. I understand in PvP, but I’m PvE content all you do is cast frostbolts.
