  1. My preferred transportation is a bicycle, so I have pretty good access to most stops. With this QOL roll-back, it does make playing a bit more of a pain. The expanded distance makes for a more polite player base. For the last year and a half, I could swing through a parking lot, spin a few stops and be on my way. Today, I had to go onto the sidewalk at a few businesses as well as navigate a line of parents picking up their kids from a church daycare. I know part of this challenge is in my head, but I felt more intrusive than usual.
My daughter uses a wheelchair, and her access to about half of her usual stops has been cut off. She doesn't play as much as I do, but making it more difficult for her certainly doesn't encourage more time in the game.
I was a free-to-play trainer for a long time. For the time being, that's what I'm going back to. I haven't decided if I'll stop all together. I'm kind of riding it out for now.

  2. The Smart ones will just start spoofing and never be affected by Niantic again but I understand that most of you have not realized that this is what Niantic would prefer you do instead of pestering them

  3. The problem is all the people that play the game but don't actually care about it enough to learn about changes or protest. Same shit that ruined music, the people that don't actually care or pay attention and just go along with what the corporate money grubbers want.

  4. Some pretty big Youtuber influencers are now not spending money in game including Brandon Tan. Hopefully others will follow suit and hit em where it hurts! There's many reasons why to keep the distance. Safety being a huge one!
