  2. Agreed. Nintendo tech is so far behind Microsoft and sony it's just scary. 2022 will be the Switch last gasp. Especially with companies are making portable pc like steamdeck, ayaneo advance and G3x. These consoles can run AAA hyper realistic cinematic graphics games while Switch can't even run genshin impact. Nintendo need new more powerful hardware soon otherwise it's gonna be to late for them.

  3. 1. Nintendo needs to push for better partnerships with AAA companies. There is no excuse that a system that has 100 million consoles does not have great third party support. This may be achieved by building a better streaming platform for the developers. If the switch(or successor) cannot handle the games at face value building a strong streaming platform may aid in obtaining additional support. The sad truth that Stadia is better supported by AAA developers only further supports this.

Completely agree for the UI. The UI is horribly outdated. An overhaul is needed.

Switch is great but the flaws are apparent, Nintendo needs to fix this for the next console.

Also little suggestion, you can buy decoy hawks to get rid of your woodpeckers. You have to move them every so often but they should fix the problem!

  4. 1. TP and WW as individual $30 re-releases 2. Overhauled switch UI with more themes, folders and instant messaging with switch friends 3. Vastly improved online services 4. No botw 2 delays 5. adding streaming services like netflix and crunchyroll to the console (was super handy back in the wii u).

  5. The most important UI change for me is the one that was on the 3DS.
A little blue or orange light next to the game icon that let you know it has an update.
I have a 1tb which is full and a 500gb which is halfway full.
Auto update does not work right and I cant use it because a game that auto updates but is on a different SD card does not work for me.
I have to take a few hours and go through each game to see if it has an update and that is so time consuming.

  6. My comments on your 4 ideas.

    1. I can agree with this. Just so we all know when to expect them.
    2. I only partially agree. The main OS UI I think is fine. The OS is meant to be a minimalist quick loading thing where you get into the games you play as quick as possible. The less time spent in the OS UI the better. I personally would not change what exists currently.
The eShop though is a hot mess. Mostly because after a couple hundred searches you are scrolling through, the whole shop slows down to a crawl. I honestly the Wii or WiiU estops are far better. Nintendo just needs to copy those and bring them to the Switch. Complete with the different game categories etc etc.
    3. Only if there is something interesting added in. Not bringing them back just for nostalgia's sake. The majority of Switch owners are under 25. They have zero nostalgia for old IPs.
I say just make good games. Some can be new IPs, some ca be old IPs. But make a good game first and foremost. That way they will sell and everyone will play them.
    4. I actually agree with this, but I do not see Nintendo doing this.
    5. I am going to say no on this. This feels strange as I agree with the base concept. I just want Nintendo to develop it themselves or just use others as very broad inspiration. I do hope Nintendo do not clone any existing tech to better themselves. By this I mean clone as much as Nintendo can without being sued by the original makers of the tech.
Nintendo's online (and other things) are rather garbage now. But guess what? Everyone knows this but the Switches still sell. 100m and counting. Proof that these failings do not matter to the average customer. Meaning Nintendo needs to fix them (obviously) but maybe not as priority one. The first priority should always be fun and great games that people want to buy. Thankfully Nintendo is doing this now.

  7. In my opinion, Nintendo needs to get rid of the online service and expansion pack. The damage is too great to fix. Will it be done overnight? No. Just replace it with something else and better. The people in charge of the online service needs to be fired.

  8. I kind of want to buy a Galaxy after watching that video! 😂
Good list! For me the biggest one of the expansion pack. Dropped £50 for it and I have probably played like 30 mins since it came out. Plus, can’t even get my hands on a N64 controller! Just release them for general sale!!
Also ✌️ but the other way around is actually the opposite of ‘peace out’ in the U.K. 😅

  9. 1) I need zelda OOT, MM, WW, TP on switch
    2) want nintendo to actually recognize zelda's 35th anniversary
    3) reboot/remake/remaster mario rpg legend of the seven stars
    4) new ui
5)better online support that includes game trials/free games even 1 every other month

  10. 1: Add themes and Folders come on this has been done on the 3DS. We even had basic themes on the DS. Also add the background music for different themes.

2: Fix your online service. Not the service itself. Make it so if someone has bad interent fix it so it only disconnects the person who has bad internet.

3: Update the eShop and add some music to make it feel a bit more alive. Make a recommended games category. I could go on about this but I won't.

4: Make NSO worth it. Ditch the NES SNES and N64 apps and renew them in one app. Make it so the expansion pack give one modern switch game or heck even DLC if you have the expansion pack. Put all your old console games on NSO and ask for $60 a year. Maybe amp it up to $80 for the expansion pack so that way people pay $60 for base NSO features plus that bit extra for DLC content or a modern game.

5: just like you said Nintendo Prime this is my list and I stand by it. Port Twilight Princess HD and Windwaker HD to switch. IDC what people say Botw2 could be awesome but I am carefully optimistic about it. I'd rather pay $60 for each port rather than shell out a hero of money on a dead system and two ports.

  11. My only main 1 choosing on this video after your discussion An overhaul UI Switch home Menu.

    1. Every 1 had been talking bout this OS UI current NS has, no 1 isn't too impressed by the choice of UI they decided n not, that needs to change on were still in this gen of Nintendo. Next gen console Nintendo is far off the woods n not on charting list. Their features it desperately needs to get addressed from here n need to do catch up on getting those main features for the current Switch.
Take the note from the Wii U n 3DS Home Menu's, they Home Menu was even better comparing to what we've with current Switch Menu. I vote for 3DS home menu redesign if Nintendo does go on revamping the UI layout.

    2. More more n more options on Theme covers, especially the Theme Shop, it true that 3DS didn't get the Theme shop beginning of launch till 4 years of launch, been on black n white cover theme too long. Still as of now no change to more options Theme Covers. Should add music on Theme covers each of the different theme covers, foremost getting the 3DS treatment n getting on the train to the Switch. 3DS had gotten the Theme Shop, Nintendo Switch should be getting it. Nintendo should've provided more color basics options at launch not only black n white covers. For the starters of Theme covers, if they were gonna launch the Theme Shop later date.

    3. Definitely top prior list is online infrastructure revamp. Ever since the launch of the online paid sub, barely any kind of changes r being made, definitely its failure of the online service in Nintendo part, isn't even like what Microsoft and Sony does terms of their service. Online service of their's shitttttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smartphone APP for this service is fucked up n shit, that's why no 1 isn't using the voice chat. Of course that Voice chat, all other online features r important for this service that's what we need to get best experience for online play. Except focusing to Smartphone APP. If Nintendo Switch online service was XBox live style, then wouldn't be going thru all the criticism n no conver…….
