We’re posting 5 videos a week! so if you like this type of content! turn on post notifications ❤️ thank you!
god this looks hard
Wait but… How did you level up your Pokemon? Explosion makes your Pokemon faint. Did you actually swap between two Pokemon and use explosion on the other and repeat? Because it's not shown on the video! I feel like the challenge is kinda toned down, if the levels were just set to those levels. I would like to see this challenge done but with actual grinding included, because then you have truly beaten the game with just Explosion.
The double battles would have been easier if you had a ghost type on your team!
This video confuses me. I thought of both trainers’ pokemon faint on the same turn (May battle 1) the game counts it as a loss to the player. It also would’ve been nice to see the leveling strategy you used. I assumed it involved switching and spamming stat lowering moves, especially for the first wild Pokémon battle of the game
Great challenge, but I think the video would’ve been even better if you had explained the process a bit more, as creators like SmallAnt and MDB do
someone isn't a fan of reading the game text i see if u don't know where to go.

I think this video would've benefited from spending less time on story beats and more time on the encounters that required strategy. It felt like you spent an appropriate amount of time on battles like roxanne, the steven double battle, or tate and liza, but by the elite four you were sick of narrating and tried to get through phoebe and wallace as quickly as possible, even though they each posed unique challenges. You didn't even show a sped-up excerpt of the PP stall to give an idea of what it was like.
If you had encounters that made you think about how to beat them, you should walk us through your thought process, show some of the failed battles along the way that led you to your final solution. For the battles that are "just use explosion," you can gloss over them quickly only showing the three or four booms, then immediately move on to the next battle. We don't need to know that you walked to slateport or that the team leaders are morons for using the wrong orb, since that has no bearing on the challenge. By cutting out the fluff, you could probably cut the video length in half, leaving more room to talk about the battles that posed a challenge.
When you introduced the triple magma grunt battle, I thought maybe you'd have to beat more than 5 pokemon and would need to employ some new tactic to survive the battles. Instead, you just cut straight to the double battle with steven, without even mentioning how many pokemon they had between them. Simply knowing that it's 5 or less would instantly tell us that it was trivial, but you can't expect the viewer to know that if you don't tell them.
I also think it would've been good to spend 30 seconds showing how it's possible to level up pokemon via switch training, and then just add on "but for the sake of time, I'll be using rare candies." There's no shame in using rare candies to cut out grinding and get content out faster, but it's good to cover your bases and show that it is in fact possible to do legitimately. I saw you with 1 explosion remaining at a few points, so I assume you also hacked in max revives so you wouldn't have to keep running back to the pokemon center after every battle? Once again, there's absolutely no shame in doing this, but I think it's at least worth mentioning; there's a lot of mandatory battles that would get annoying otherwise.
So you clearly used rare candies. Which I don't mind because we all can assume how you did the challenge. It would have been tedious using exp share are switch training and constantly going back to the Pokemon center. You don't mention it though and you know people will think that. I mean it is pretty obvious when multiple times during a major battle all your Pokemon have 0 exp. Because of this I can't believe you made the wishcash struggle to death because you don't even show part of it.
