31 Gedanken zu „Nintendo ist zum Scheitern verurteilt … schon wieder! (Nicht wirklich)“
  1. Think people need to understand that the enthusiast community online is not the reason why Nintendo is successful. Whether or not Nintendo releases a new piece of hardware won't change the fact that the Switch was the best-selling piece of dedicated gaming hardware in 2023, no amount of loss in third party support won't change the fact that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has sold 50 million unit. Splatoon 3 sold 8 million in less than a month, and it's going to fly by Splatoon 2. Usually, when a console is dying, the install base diminishes along with it.

  2. I played a bit of Breath of the Wild in the last few days, coming back to it after almost a couple of years, and the framerate and resolution did feel a bit jarring at first. But playing it was so much fun once I got going that I didn't really think about it at all anymore.
Sure, the game looks amazing when played on an emulator on PC with maximal graphical settings, 60 fps and high resolution and it would be great if Switch 2 could do the same, but it really doesn't need it. It looks beautiful on the Switch as it is, and it plays great!
Sure I would like to play Tears of the Kingdom with the best graphics possible, but once I get it on my old Switch, I won't care one bit even if it's 30 fps with framerate drops and 900p resolution. I'll be just as immersed in it as I was back when BotW released.

  3. I am a bit worried, if we keep buying Nintendo switch we wont get a new gen Nintendo before 2025 or later, and yes it will be something to be worried about. And as much as I love Nintendo games, I do feel time to time the formula is a bit outdated

  4. nope, Nintendo is preparing for the onslaught that microsoft will have with all the xbox studio that exist now. The rumour that nintendo may be sitting on a lot of games may have for motive to be ready when that onslaught comes.

  5. Nintendo is going to do just fine. it’s a perfect analogy that Nintendo is the Disney of the video game world having memorable characters, games, and even catchy music that generations pass down to the next. I got admit that, despite some of the foolish things. Nintendo has done in the past. I have admired. They’re willingness. To March to their own groove..
Here’s my two cents being that PlayStation and Xbox are going to give you the closest experience to a PC with processing in graphical horsepower out the Wazoo. Nintendo just focuses on simple ways to have fun while you play. Without the major focus on supergraphics, and be fear processor that hangs with Xbox and PlayStation.
I roll my eyes of people who act cynical towards Nintendo for many years. It’s true that they are self-sufficient and don’t need anybody else because they hit it out of the park with the Nintendo switch merging the home and hand held divisions where they can really focus on one platform to put all their games on. Seriously we had had a mainline Pokémon game on the GameCube Nintendo, Wii or and 64. Since never. we just had spinoffs like Pokémon snap and stadium while diamond and pearl plus ruby and sapphire have been on handhelds.. now I can finally play the mainliners on the switch at home or on the go. my opinion, this is the year where in tendo really pulls out all the stops with the platform I am totally ready for it, so bring it on.

  6. I don't want Nintendo to release something like a ps5 but I would like them to try and keep up a bit in terms of power, I prefer to play FPS games on Nintendo systems because of the one handed gyro aiming other systems don't offer.

I bought every cod on Wii and Wii u and I loved cod BO2 on the Wii u because we finally had a version of the game almost on par with other systems but support for the game was bad.

  7. ps5 will be the top selling console in 2023 nintendo has 3 individual consoles not one so each console is the oled regular switch and switch lite last week the ps5 was the top selling console in japan sold more then the oled..

  8. Didn't someone make a video titled the switch is in trouble just because it dipped in sales for a bit? The person who made the video wasn't joking either. They even said Nintendo should replace the Switch or drop the price to get sales back up. Funny how opinions change day to day just to make videos.

  9. You really shouldn't frame things like this. It isn't "they are jealous of Nintendo." "It bothers people that Nintendo is self-sufficient". That's not true. Nintendo makes great games, and then they force you to play those games on terrible hardware. Another example, Goldeneye could have been a seminal moment this week. Instead Nintendo wrecked it. If it was released on PC, fans would fix the game that Nintendo messed up. Nintendo isn't always good. Nintendo often acts like if God of War comes out, and Sony says, "I know you have a PS4, but the only version you get to play is whatever we can get working on the PS3". Nobody is hating Nintendo. We hate Nintendo's hardware, it ruins Nintendo's own games. It isn't a juvenile "i want my box to be better than yours". Almost every Sony and Xbox fan are also Nintendo fans. I want Nintendo to be better. I want to give Nintendo more money. I want to enjoy my Nintendo games more. How is that "hating Nintendo". Jeeze. If Nintendo would just stick an RTX 4060 in a box, then I would SAVE a lot of money. I could play my Nintendo games and not need to buy a second piece of hardware. People don't like giving Nintendo more money, for less. Value.

  10. I'm a bit worried for the future of Nintendo. The switch is killing it, still selling crazy 6 years after launch, that's great. What I'm worried about is the successor of the switch. Nintendo has a tendency to make completely different hardware from one another, it is a double edge sword. I'm sure they won't go bankrupt but Nintendo has a history of high and lows with their home consoles. The GameCube despite my love for it was commercial failure. The wii was successful but software didn't sell as much as they should have. The wii U was a failure. And the switch is successful both for hardware and software sales. So I'm hoping they won't completely change their formula for their next console and just brings a true successor to the switch

  11. The declaration that Nintendo doesn't need AAA is a very true and intriguing observation. Right now though Nintendo is infinitely better than. Apple pioneers anti consumer endeavors whereas Nintendo is very fair in their pricing. Hopefully Nintendo doesn't employ their own anti consumer antics as they cement themselves as self sufficient.

  12. I want to remind that the decision od realising a new hardware doesn´t completely depend of the sales of the console even from the games, the final decision will always depend on the demand of a wide range of investors internal as external. for example: first and third party developers and companies, Nvidia, companies that are external from the videogames, inversors, stock inversors Dam it even the inversion of some goverments. And im only giving a few of examples. those are the definitive factors of realising a new console and they already establishe a realise date and if the relise date gets delayed they will lose profits. Same reason the the PS5 realised not only on a time where PS4 kept selling well if it is not launched in a pandemic

  13. Nintendo was to me and my friends the better console back in the day…then Nintendo stopped caring about power or quality …and where was All the Nintendo fans when Wii u flopped hard…I would love to see all your content on Wii u when it was out .let's not forget about that epic fail 🤔
