7:17 is just the ultimate final showdown theme. You kids who didn't grow up on Gen 1 don't understand what a big deal it was to fight Champion Gary/Blue back in the day.
Nostalgia hurts, but it is a little less painful knowing we're not alone. We might never be able to go back to that time again, but it's better than never having experienced it at all. I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
