  1. When you try to get a feel for it:
    Rhe spped boost from the flip should be exactly the speed increase that it missing from the boost that you gained on the ground.
    Might not be the best advice, but maybe it helps some of the "theoretical" people like me.

  2. What I also found helpful was to cancel the flip by holding the joystick straight down and only correcting right before the landing.
    This way, you still have "maximum cancel" and also got more time to find the right amount of correction.
    (Feels awkard for the first 10 times, but you will quickly get the hang of it)

  3. Hey Luke, might also be worth noting the text indicators for time without boost/throttle, horizontal distance travelled, etc.

    Those also turn green/yellow/red depending on how you do, and even if everything else is green one of them can also cause you to miss the flip.

  4. You can do an alternate speed flip holding one air roll directional and a quick front flip cancel. It takes out the confusion of getting the correct flip angle and it's much more beginner friendly for your coaching!

  5. And then there are those of us KBM players that can hit green on all the boxes and still not reach the ball on the training pack. Been trying on and off for over a year and still have never made contact. C3 with >2k hours so I am not sure if it is really simply a mechanical or skill related mistake.

  6. You definitely should have mentioned about letting the ball reset properly after each attempt. A super common error people make when they do that training pack is when they mess up an attempt, press the reset shot button and then immediately go for it again. You lose time.

  7. So I have played both console (series x) and pc, and there is a distinct difference in input delay, even with the colsole having the most ideal setup for reducing input delay. Because of this, using the same controller, I can flip cancel significantly faster on pc than I can on console. And this isn't a pc I'd be able to actively play on as the performance isn't good enough to stay constant, but even on this lower end pc the less input delay is noticeable. I've played on better pc rigs and things like aerial control feel way more responsive just due to this small input delay difference.

  8. 5 minutes after installing the plugin, I succeeded touching the ball in Musty's pack for the first time in months training this pack. I was just not holding boost the entire time………. Thanks a lot sharing, as well as Tyni for creating this amazing plugin!

  9. Am I the only one that this plug in isn’t working for? All the indicators come up on screen, but the training pack itself changes. The ball starts up in the air slightly, and the time clock changes to 5 seconds.

  10. I don't get it. I can complete the musty speedflip by using air roll right and frontflip (perfect diagonal) as long as I double jump and cancel fast. Is it still a "mistake" if it works? 🤷‍♂️
