Spookluke I have a question what rank should you go pro would you perfer Champion or Grandchampion
I been using two directional air roll and air roll since I started playing, I knew at some point pros were going to start using it too. It would be faster to get used to one directional air roll but then you will have retrain if you want to do two directional air roll. I had my two directional air rolls backwards (at the time it made sense), and I had to get used to them when I corrected them – it did took a few days. But I am just a diamond, so I have a way to go and much more to learn.
I alr have both aid rolls makes it easier to get off both walls and easy to correct over spinning or something
gonna sound stupid this but how on earth do people actually use normal air roll it’s just not convenient when it’s bound to x or square i’m assuming people bind it dons different button?
No
Switching from KBM to controller made binding both air rolls much easier to transition. I always tell friends who start playing to bind both instead of using joystick air roll because it's way more intuitive.
As a controller player who is improving rapidly now… my air roll left is L1 and my right air roll is left toggle pushed to the right… it’s so easy with my controller grip… and I find it so easy to roll any direction I need.
yeah no
I’ve been using two directional since I started and looked up binds. And so far it’s been great!
whats the instrumental in the back from / off of?
I'm c3 and still don't use directional and I wish I did
For aerials that's right. For recoveries I strongly disagree. In many cases you're gonna need the weak-side air roll to prevent yourself from doing 540° turns, to do those half flips where you land on the wall, or to adjust faster when doing a ceiling.
I've used both since the beggining. I only use air roll right to orient off the wall in certain positions tho.
I'm d1 and I have both bound. I usually only use left air roll for everything but will use right every once in a while to make sure my wheels hit the ground when a left air roll would put me upside down.
Ive been playing and using the non directional air roll since 2015. Changing from that to directional is so difficult. I've had directional air roll left bound for a year or so but I literally only use it for post goal celebrations, pre tournament lobbies and half flips lol
Don’t you wish someone would of said all this before you started to learn how to bloody double air control ! Iv started so il finish
my brain works symmetrically so ive just always used both
I binded air roll right to square as I don’t use it and it could still be useful if I ever end up using it
I use both left and right feels so much better. Only issue is I have difficulty switching from powerslide to a diffrent button
I have both air rolls bounded but don't really use air roll right, mainly for wavedashes off the wall
I'm stuck midt diamond. Ive been using two Direction Air roll since gold. Would I get more consistent with only using left or right?
I use both for flicks
I would say bind it and only use the other one for recoveries and air roll shots
Couldn’t disagree more. Stick air roll is ass
I discovered air roll on my own, and decided to use both. At this point I'm better off sticking with this and I'm not the best with normal air roll
I've been playing with double directional bound air-roll and for the most part it works great, the major downside is not being able to powerslide with my left bumper since that's bound to left air-roll so some recoveries aren't as clean
