I am, by no means, a pro or good at this game, but I will say that Solo Slooping is equal parts so fun and rewarding, and it's so angering and unrelenting. But in the end it always makes for a good story!
The amount of times I got hit (and died) through sword block is insane. And all they do is spam hit

Solo slopping is hard mode. You gotta be extra vigilant and careful. I’m not very skilled so my best bet is to avoid people/conflict. I almost got a lv5 merchant emissary today but wasn’t looking at my surroundings as often when on my last island. A ships spawned at the nearby outpost, raised a reaper emissary and came straight for me. They got the drop on me so I was done before they started firing. Just bad timing.

My experiences as a solo sloop running through the night with two hours of work on board has converted me to the faith of the whale lord. He has blessed me with safe passage when I needed it the most.

Lol, I swam that far the other day, almost died to a couple sharks. I found a cannonball rowboat had some chai shots and found the two sloops. I knocked a mast down and suck another. Lol I died though.

Solo slooping is awesome. Don’t take on two galleons at the same time though. It’s a bad idea.
