  1. I’m really curious about the balance philosophy of the dev team. It seems like instead of making small incremental changes to many specs, very frequently, to slowly inch towards balance, they instead opt for a few BIG changes that completely shift the meta a few times per patch..

A proper balance philosophy would be buffing and nerfing specs every 2 weeks in small ways. By continuing to do small 1-5% buffs and nerfs on any problematic abilities, within a few months you’ll see the most balanced meta we’ve ever had.

But instead they just let shit cook in the pot. I’m a ret main. Why were rets broken for so long? Why are destro locks allowed to do what they do? Why were demo bolts critting people for 80k reliably when people were 260 ilvl?

Why did it take so long for holy ward to receive a nerf to duration and cooldown?

Why did echoing resolve not see any changes until like week 8? Why does orc passive racial completely negate unending resolve negative effect?

Why did we wait 8 weeks to give r-shamans and mw monk heals a buff?

Why are there still no nerfs to outlaw survivability and/or damage? Do blizzard not see the stats on their end, that outlaws virtually never die?

These devs only look at winrates and don’t actually watch real gameplay or play the game themselves, to see how these specs actually feel to play or to play against

It’s not hard to balance a video game. These devs are paid hundreds of thousands of dollars per year in salary and can’t make quick game decisions. They wait 10 weeks to collect “stats” before making a balance decisions, only after half the player base quit because it feels horrible to pvp. Give me a break

And it’s not that these devs are stupid. They’re not. They’re actual geniuses. It’s just that their PHILOSOPHY is stupid, resulting in stupid decisions.

  2. "Holy is the strongest healer for reasons A B C D E F G H I J and K

And if that just wasnt enough, they can rez themselves in arena"

Lmao what a time to be alive.

  3. Hey everyone. 9.2.5 caught us more off guard than an RMP 3-2-1 opener. The specs listed in this video are incredibly likely to dominate next patch, but we will be sure to post an update if anything changes.

The removal of Demon Armor will slightly hurt Destro in some matchups, but overall they will likely be a power house for the remainder of the season.

  4. Making life as a BM hunter awfully rough 😑 it's still a really fun spec and can hold its own if you know how to play it. Running into rogue/mage or double rogue is always a problem though. Quick shout out to DH though they really stay consistent through it all imo.

  5. I don't udnerstand how hole paladins are mentioned as spec with high cc while they have the least and most difficult to land cc compared to healers like Resto dudu and Holy Priest. On top of that, damage ? For real ? If a holy Paladin spams damage non-stop the whole game there is no way he can beat any other healer.

  6. You can’t suggest destro locks as top. As they will most likely be bad next week once 9.2.5 hits and the melee cleave will be able to run over locks

  7. Mmmm I don’t know. My resto shammy is always at the top of the healing tier in bg’s. And everything is always gear dependent, my holy priest gets deleted in bg’s with a 245 gear score. Lol. Destro chaos bolt is the truth lmao

  8. Destro is gutted do not listen to this at all lol. Removal of Demon Armor with resolve nerf and double nerf to your tier set is going to be a grave dug for destro. Usually SC is decent at this stuff but no – do not go destro, go Demo if you want to play Lock. Other than that : Rogue all 3 specs, Mage, HPriest are what you should play. Just look at AWC.

  9. I can assure you I am a fury warrior and cannot make it past 1600 the ranged classes are by far the favored and coming up against a rogue with 50 stuns is absolutely nuts. Fury is good but not even close how good rogues, hunters , and mages are. I have no problem against warlocks btw.

  10. I have played rogue as my main for many years, always choosing assassination. I stepped away for a few years and came back and decided after testing all three specs, that I liked outlaw the best. Once decently geared (ilvl 262 full 7/7 upgraded honor), I have found the outlaw rogue to be even more resilient than arms and fury warriors. Cheap shot out of stealth, 7 second kidney shot, a vanish to do the cheap shot again, evasion, cloak of shadows, kick, blind, disarm, and cool down reduction abilities all can leave the other team exasperated as the other team cannot get you down, especially with a fantastic healer involved. Add their mobility with hook and sprint, on top of feint and you have a deadly warrior that does not fight fair in the least. I find their burst lacking overall, but the sustained dps, and sustained overall survivability as the fight goes longer; and a huge array of tools will help you lock out caster types and melee types of all kinds. Definitely recommend if you wanna see your enemies flee after messing with you just once. You are simply not an easy target if you know how to play outlaws fast paced setups. To note: outlaw is meant for longer duration fights. Play your outlaw as a class not to kill fast, but to control every aspect of the fight. Not a good pug class to play, as you really need clean, clear and precise communication with your team. Often times pugs do not know what rogues bring to the table and break cc frequently.
