  1. Hey Jordan, DK and others, J and Ben. Just messing around with you guys. My question is what if someone doesn't respond to your text. Like if your text was a question or a statement to something they said. Like what's your favorite color and they never respond, or they say they watched a movie and you say you haven't seen that movie, but you have seen the trailers. And the person does normally respond to your texts

  2. Heyy jordon Still have havent found my thing since i got fired i am lost any good ways you can think of to try new thing without going tho meny job BTW this is the guy from the we got someone fired video

  3. Hi Jordan (and everyone else),
Thanks for the advice. I've set an alarm, and I'm making sure that I go to bed at roughly the same time every day. I'm already doing much better, and I've started to return to my usual routine again. I've put myself into a schedule so that I can finish my summer work before school starts, and when it does start up again I can get back to practicing the violin and piano regularly (my sister is going off to college so I don't have any more opposition regarding too much noise). Thank you again and I hope to be back with another update soon!

By the way, my name is Joseph, not Jonathan (although my uncle and cousin are both named Jonathan), my middle name is my grandfather's (and it's not Louis, Lewis, or any other variation), and my last name is French-German so it could have started with a K, but perhaps the spelling got changed? I'm unsure as to the exact story.

  4. Hey SCG crew!

I am looking for exercise advise. I have Achilles tendonitis which effects me almost every day in both feet. I work on my feet which causes more pain and more damage. My doctor has given me exercises that are designed to stretch it out, but do you have any actual exercises or advise to still keep me moving?

  5. Dear Jordan, DK, Ben and J. Career advice is needed. I've been at the same company for 6 years working retail. Slowly in the past year or so, the company is getting worse and worse and more difficult to work for. Hours have been cut, the company treats us like mud (used to be like family), it's all around become awful. It doesn't feel right supporting this company anymore. I've been casually looking elsewhere and just started getting serious about leaving. Many employers have a serious prejudice against retail workers though there are a thousand skills I have that are applicable to so many other things. What fields would you recommend going into, or general advice about moving into a new job and/or field of work? Also, interview questions. I haven't been interviewed in 6 years!!!!!

  6. Hi J, Ben, Jordan, and DK. I am so annoyed with my brother anything he does annoys me and since he is older he thinks that he is better then me I want to be nice to him but his attitude toward me makes it very hard I always get in trouble when he starts a fight and I need to prevent this do you have any advice?

  7. Yes it's me from discord hello
    Hey Jordan and guys!
I would love your advice on this situation. I'm 23 and live at home, and my parents want me to have a full time job [~40 hours a week]. I'm a college dropout (long story) and I don't have much marketable experience of any kind. I found myself a job that I am really enjoying and fairly good at, but it's only around 20 hours a week and only pays minimum wage. The hours are kind of all over the place at my job so there's no way to fit in a second job, and there's no option to work full time there. Living at home I don't have a lot of expenses so I don't mind keeping this job, but my parents really want me to look for something full time instead. What do I do? Keep my current job or try and find a full time job?

    tl;dr:
I have a part time job I love but my parents think I should work full time. My options are limited due to my skill set. What do?

    Possible relevant information:
    >I work at a paint-your-own pottery place.
    >I have a side thing where I sell baked goods but don't get a lot of business.
    >I absolutely can't work in an office doing entry level work because I tried that and I just about died of boredom.
    >I feel like my parents do get a say in my choices because I still live with them.

Thanks so so much for reading this whole rambling mess, Jordan.

  8. Hey guys, I'm just starting my junior year of high school (I live in Arizona and school starts early here) and I am super excited to go to prom for the first time. I can't wait to ask someone, but seeing as prom is 7-8 months away when is it too early to ask someone?

  9. Hey Brothers, Jordan and DK! I need some school advice. I just entered 10th grade in my lifelong school and none of my friends are in my classroom. Instead, most of the people I prayed not to be in my classroom ARE. I do not know with whom to get with on school projects and I feel I will get left out. There is no anchor friend. Advice? Thanks a ton

  10. SCB family I need help! I have a very good friend who I've known for nearly a decade. For 4 years we've been apart (he went off to do a PhD in Finland and I moved to England) but for the past 6 months we have both ended up Back in Glasgow and been hanging out a lot. Anyway long story short is I have developed feelings for him and I am pretty sure he feels the same way about me. My Dilemma is that he has just got a job and will be moving a 6 hour drive away. Do I open up about how we've been feeling about each other and see how it goes, or do I move on and stop dwelling on "what if"?

  11. Dear Jordan ben j and DK. I have a friend that wants to do everything with me. I have other friends he doesnt like and I want to hang out with them too. he is one of my best friends and i like hime. How do i hang out with all my friends without upsetting him?

  12. Update Time:

A few months ago, during Mario Kart you gave me advice about gaining social confidence. Lately I've been a lot more confident and I'm super tahnkful. Being introverted can be hard and your advice has made it easier!

    Thank You!!!
