You can find Both Tauros without the food BUT the Food makes things so much EASIER 🙂 Hope this helps

I do know that the water Tauros can also appear when it’s raining in world as well. That’s how I stumbled found mine.

A friend of mine got his fire Tauros after 5min of searching and I haven't seen one in my entire playtime. On time he visited my world and I autobattled a group of tauros. I didn't look closer, but he stated afterwards, that there was one water tauros in the group, that got killed. 😬

I was playing a second playthrough of Scarlet, and I got to the area with the Tauros, and was just minding my business, running past a few herds of Tauros.

I had to have been inSANEly lucky, but I stopped going past a herd, when I saw something different out the corner of my eye.

There was the fire Tauros when I went back.
Well, the playthrough was a fire and fairy only run.
So I caught it cause it's a fire type – but I never activated any meal powers!

I then proceeded to find another two later, also without meal powers. 🙂

Maybe it was a glitch, but it was between the desert and Port Marinaria (sp?).

Why are you saying secret

Fire Tauros has longer horns, fiery mane with red spots, tied tail, and usually only shows up as the leader in a mass spawn of Tauros.
Water Tauros have curvy horns, sagging mane with blue spots, swirly looking tail, and probably also only spawns as the leader of a cohort.

wow, 25 years and ash didnt find these when he found 30 tauros

I somehow got an aqua-breed Taurus without the help of a sandwich
