You can tell they put time and affection into this game. It was amazing for its time. Looking back it actually got me into DBZ. Shame the other two didn’t get cutscenes

Something about Cells return in this is unmatched. The dusty dark atmosphere. The reaction of Vegeta added to it when you know someone as unbreakable as him is just trembling they could all just feel his ki and Goku was now gone. They really captured the hopeless feeling and the ending is done amazing for how old this game is

Not even the scenes in Kakarot are this good. They should have just remade Budokai and extended it to the entire series past Cell.
In the end it look like cell had a seizure when the kamehameha hit him 😂😂😂

I love Budokai 1 but the only problem with it is that they did not add the Buu saga. If they did, it would probably be the best DBZ fighting game to date.
