Im a little confused, am I supposed to defeat 60 more Pokémon after each reset ?

I didn't even know this was something that could be done. Gonna try it out really soon, just gotta wait for hopefully the right outbreak shows up for me (looking for Rockruffs and maybe Deerlings)
So far I've only caught two shinies completely by chance while exploring normally, a Sinistea and a Litleo.

Does killing 60 Pokémon of mankeys that aren’t part of a mass outbreak still give me the better shiny odds. Or does the Pokémon have to be in the mass outbreak?
Is it required to KO same species consecutively?
does it affect if other pokemon run into you and have to actually battle them in the middle of the mass outbreak?
Does this only work for outbreaks or can I use LVL 3 encounter and do the same in the wild?
My outbreaks are going away while shiny hunting?
I just did over 100 resets for bramblin and the only thing I got was a shiny Voltorb. Idk what I'm doing wrong. 60 plus ko then picnic and walk around the area then re picnic.
If you reset the time to go back to the same outbreak do you need to knock out 60 pokemon again?

I did this method too but after the 7th time I picnic and when I came back.. my mass outbreak still showed on the map but those Pokémon just disappear.. which I thought was odd.. please answer to that?

Works fine, but for me Pokemon only respawn when I walk quite some distance away from them, slowing the process down a lot. Anything I can do about that?

Got a question for this that no one has seem to address yet. Most of my outbreaks are out at sea , obviously you cannot use a picnic so does swimming away and swimming back to make them spawn back in still count? Because its taking me a very long time to find one. Thankyou 🙂

Could I still continue picnic resetting after I've caught 1 shiny in an outbreak? Will the odds reset after an actual shiny appears and is caught? Like, say I wanted to catch 2 shinies of the same pokemon. Or would it be better to just do a fresh new second outbreak of the pokemon

For anyone asking, not it hasn't been patched.
I did this trick, it 10000% worked.
I shiny hunted Noibat with this trick and I reset my picnic 18 times and got my shiny Noibat, now Noivern. 🫰🏼

Any reason why my mass outbreak disappeared after I go to like 30 Pokémon?
