  1. This is for people on console: (1)…One training strategy that really helps me with car control and is still very difficult is simply loading up freeplay, keep ball cam on, drive up to the circle that's in the center of the field and fly up. Keep feathering your boost to stay at your desired height. Now start following the circle clockwise and try not to deviate or lose altitude and make sure ball cam is still on. You can try counter clockwise once you feel like it but try not to go back to the ground to do so. (2)… The second strategy is to load up Pillars map on freeplay and once again fly up while keeping ball cam on. Choose your desired altitude and start weaving between the pillars clockwise and counter clockwise. Now you can do this without ball cam on, but it's up to you. A figure 8 is a good starting point for the pillars.

  2. I also play on an alt account to warm up after training. Instead of casual (they are both the same rank) so I don't care about losing a few even if I did as it's my Alt

  3. Lol the skill gap is low as of this comment i went from unranked to c3 in 2s without a warm up so warming up to me i still dont feel its really needed bc the ppl u go against up to gc dont even warm up 😂

  4. the problem is my best game no matter how warm i am is my first game and it just goes downhill from there until i take a break to basically reset the cycle and then ill have a good game again and then keep getting worse and so on and so forth…

  5. Funny that I see this video. I'm on ps4 and I've been substituting packs that I've favorited based on how much I whiff(mid gold in 1s and 3s and plat 2 in 2s). Since I've been doing that, I've noticed a difference in the amount of contact I have with the ball, as well as clutch moments ingame where I help my team out, or either set up a pass, but my team never knows I'm doing so…. that being said, I've started spamming the "Passing" qc, and even when it doesnt work, i just chalk it up to, "if i was good enough at hitting the ball with desired power and accuracy, it would've been a goal, or at least a better shot. You guys keep working hard out there! Thanks for the upload, Sir Skyroller.

  6. That's actually so true, i used Knockout as warmup and i was playing waaaay better.
It helps so much improving car control cause you are costantly doing uncomfortable recoveries and you can try unconfortable eliminations (like on walls or flying to catch ppl out of map)

  7. hey spook luke im just trying to reach out to you and ask you a question real quick. so when air rolling, are you constantly moving your left stick around or just leaving it still sometimes? because i’ve found sometimes it’s necessary to hold it still but i was wondering if that’s incorrect or like a worse way to practice air rolling

  8. Why not play casual game to warm up? That's what I do. Atleast in lower ranks works great as you can get higher level opponents against you. If you get good feeling playing in casual, it's time to jump to competitive.
