Hey guys! SivHD joined us today on ClassiCast to talk about his Classic WoW experience! Admittedly, I was a little out of it with losing my voice the night before when this happened: https://www.twitch.tv/esfandtv/clip/UgliestRichSardineTBCheesePull while playing Dark Souls 3, but we had a lot of fun having Siv on!
Unfortunately I had to blur out the chat because people were just spamming ascii dicks the whole time, I'll see if there's something I can do about that for the next one. I think transmog should have a toggle on users. You can turn it on for the people that use it. Turn it off if you hate it

42:40min I wouldn't mind 2 hours trade windows. Image going MC the 1st or 2nd time and you got that Sorcerous Dagger and later on drops Azurmage or the Staff. If there's a trade window you could still roll and give the dagger to someone else. I was on the bad end of that situation so often, especially in MC.
i want blizzard to stay true to the original Vanilla, but server population has to be higher than 3k. I think 8-10k is the minimum if you want the Whole world to actually feel populated, and not just the couple of main zones like org and ironforge.
The way blizz has treated their customers for the last 8-9 years or so, they cant be splitting up the community on the classic servers, because the servers will die off that way.
the Whole world was gathered on the nost server, and it made it feel so freakin alive, and it was still as personal as With 3k servers.
I think they should have 1 or 2 pvp servers and 1 or 2 pve servers for each continent and let it fill up as much as possible.
If there is not enough Resources, it will just make it take longer to Level. And in Vanilla, you still enjoy the leveling.
and it will keep the ingame economy in check and discourage players from constantly farming/guarding black lotus spawn Points.

Hello im new my friend i play a lot on classic private realms now on Darkshire from Lightbringer and i have BIG fears about this NEW classic i think the fuck it completly up i watch a lot of videos. I know its just some Tech Beta but i think we dont get the same feeling because of so many thinks, i think the make the game little bit easy to level up i think there are no Weather Effects ingame who make this game so awesome. Maybe you talk on some other cast about stuff like that <3 and i sub you mate really love chilling and watching you talking with tips about that stuff, im sad that im not famous and have some youtube channel with a lot of followers but i know what makes classic good and great and the demo feels diffrent and i think the cant bring this feeling back. sorry for my bad english! Hope you do this in the future when classic release comes and maybe you start doing some MP3 only because i love watching you talking while playing classic atm 😉

Siv nailed the problem with the linear storytelling and agency. If I have to "create" my own path through the game then it is replayable infinitely – I can do it again differently almost endlessly, instead of "damn I wish I could just boost so I don't have to go through the exact same thing again"

I love that Blizzard changed the number of content phases. Splitting it into 6 is way better!
I'm sorry but I just cannot stand Tipsout he seems so blinded by vanilla that he simply can not be objective on the matter all he does is glorify the old days without even acknowledging the good things…..for example when he said vanilla is higher skill cap than retail I almost vomitted. It is not even close considering boss mechanics and class rotations its like not even on the same level by miles and when he says the vanilla had story in its raids more than today its so not true so his statements have just gone to the point where all objectivity is gone and I personally cant stand that
Esfand, tips, staysafe, I just want to let you guys know that I love your content. I played vanilla live back in 2005 and continued all the way through wod. The last time I truly enjoyed it was MoP raiding. I can’t wait to play Classic, I feel like the prayers were answered. I don’t play private but watching you guys is getting me so pumped to play this again. You have said it a number of times but I plan on finishing this time around, alliance prot/warrior. I really want to try out Skarm’s feral tank and resto hybrids, he’s made me a believer! Hope to see you guys gameside.
