I wonder if you can scan and upload someware the all 6 part ''complete spectrum''
Great show watched all of them and love the memories…completely disagree with the game picks but with the 1000s of games made there are always going to be different thing for diff people
Great show, Paul !
Thank You 🙂
Great achievement – well done! I do sometimes sorry for the some of the authors of the poorer games which don't get a good review. They were probably really proud of them at the time and maybe they also watch the Spectrum Show.
Great!!!! 🙂
Gobbleman was my first Spectrum game. First owned game on any format. Still love it now. Regarding the instant death – When you respawn in the middle, just sit still for a few seconds while the ghosts wander off, then you'll be fine. The game works on a 'line of sight' principle. If you're in direct line to a ghost, it will come after you.
Two C-64 owners.
thank you for the great memories….
Please don't ever get bored of the speccy, really enjoyed every one (hundred) of your episodes and the AGD guides! Best of the luck for the future.
100 episodes down, hopefully many more to come! Congrats.
Congratulations Paul! Have been a patron for a while and this episode was a real treat 🙂 You may have seen this already, but some stunning new Speccy games came out of the Yandex Retro Games Battle 2020: https://rgb.yandex.ru/2020#alienation (this one being a favourite)
Congratulations and well done on the 100. It's a lovely channel
100 shows, well done it shows your passion for the humble spectrum, well done 🙂
Happy 100 episodes!!
Brilliant. Looking forward to more. (And that’s coming from a Commodore fanboy)
Well done on getting to 100. Has to be THE most consistently entertaining and informative retro show on YT. Amazing!
A real highlight on youtube, thanks for all your work!
Nice to see Telstar like that. It's a shame the one on the Next doesn't work properly yet. Hopefully it'll be sorted soon. 🙂
Congrats at 100 episodes. Well done.
Thanks for all of your hard work.
Congratulations reaching episode 100 🙂 and looking forward to episode 101 onwards.
Thanks for new content. Signed your Commodore 64 user fan 😉
More than eight years of dedication and only now i find out about your show : the YT suggestion algorithm definitely suxxx – but now that i found you , nostalgia flows freely ( or are zey zentimental dropletz from zee eye ? )
Congratulations on 100 episodes Paul! I spotted an August 1984 Sinclair User Magazine in your section on missed magazine reviews, the very and only time I got my program published in the beginners section (Manic Axe). I got £10 for that aged 13, and went to Woolworths to buy a copy of Fred (also mentioned in this edition). Heres to the next 100 episodes !!
Congrats on the 100th! This is my favourite show!
Congratulations getting to 100 and still going strong, here's to the next 100 episodes👍🏻
Congratulations on 100 episodes! An absolutely cracking episode. A worthy addition to the series. Thanks for all your efforts Paul. Here's looking forward to the next 100!
Do you think you'll ever make a spin-off called the Amiga Show? Love your work!
Deep shame as a change of bank card meant I drifted from Patreon.Back on now and apols… and love your stuff so much. As a 51 year old who will never forget Christmas 82 you take me to a superb place! But no mention of CTech Kong??
Thanks for all work you done. Love this serie and Spectrum.
Excellent and congratulations. Saved watching this 'till a had a bit of time, no interruptions and a nice glass of Red. Love the series, and your games. Thank you Paul 😊
A huge congratulations for reaching 100!
Thanks Paul. I’ve spent the last couple of months binge watching these hundred episodes, and I’ve learned a lot. Have several speccys in the loft including my original boxed +128 from my childhood which never gets used (I have another one for general use now) and can’t wait to get my Next hopefully in 2021.
It is a shame though for a computer that sold millions you’ve got so few subs. You deserve more and I also respect your position on advertising, YT are really aggressive these days on ads. I would encourage anyone who has the means to bung a few notes your way.
Paul mentions World of Spectrum (WOS) and wonder if it is a topic for longer discussion; is it now a reliable download archive or is its content slowly being removed. I think I read some people have downloaded the entire WOS content for preservation
Y? Para cuando el episodio 101?
Well done. I've been watching these and it's nice to see 100. Can you tell me spinnyfuck's true identity? PS my first spectrum game was Airwolf 2. Do I win £5?
SPECCY FOREVER AND NEVER DIE !!!
Were is the next episode being waiting for my specy fix hope u ok
100 top class videos, Thank you for all your excellent work mate :o)
25m 41s – "I never saw any bonus items", he says, going straight past a bonus item…
Thank you so much for this series! It has kept me going, binge watching all the way from episode 1, as I recover from serious injury! Loved every minute of the trips back to my childhood!
Brilliant bit of nostalgia as always
Hi there – weird, my comment was lost. I just wanted to say well done sitting through all of those Pacman clones – very patient man indeed. OC Man and Z-man had the same music as on my handheld pacman 2 toy from the early 80's. Cheers!
That BBS via modem is mindblowing!
Another great series. Onto the next one. 🎮
Awesome!
I just bought a CTX5000 for my spectrum, but unfortunately it didn't come with the ribbon cable. Would you know where I could find one? It seems that most spectrum accessories just plugged straight into the edge connector rather than using a cable, so they don't seem to be a common item.
Thanks in advance
Talking of game written in Sinclair BASIC. I remember that Pitman Seven was in BASIC & that was pretty good.
