40 Gedanken zu „The 5 Mechanics you NEED to RANK UP…ROCKET LEAGUE“
  1. I got gc recently (first time)
Shooting precision for sure as the game got faster i found it harder and harder to shoot accurately missed things that I would of scored at c2 or c1.

I also found my self out of position with the faster past to take thoceasy shots
I got there then went back down to champ 3 d4 will get there again soon

  2. I mean if you train harder mechs u get better at everything. I practiced air roll left for a long time and now I can basically do all mechs in the game consistently, which took me to high gc2 from c3. Trained dubbeltaps which helped me read my own backboard (better defense). Hope you guys understood :).

  3. I do practice redirects a lot, but it's for warm-up. I don't do it to get better, it just is an easy way for me to practice car control, aerial control, and precision shooting without going into training for an hour

  4. I’ll be honest, listening to pro’s and people who are at the highest rank for someone who is like say a diamond or a champ isn’t the best way to learn how to rank up. These people are way more advanced than the rest of us and have hours to be able to train and play all the time. If you cannot commit x amount of hours, then you wont see improvement fast.

In my opinion the best way to rank up is to play to enjoy the game and slowly build your arsenal of mechanics. The wins will come over time. A lot of people see all these people hit crazy clips all the time and if degrades how you look at your own gameplay because you constantly mess up and don’t see it as much with other players.

The mechanics are important but let’s face it, defence, rotations, recovery and boost management and a good kick off are essential to playing well and ranking up. Shooting in general gets you goals and that comes with time, but one team that shoots poorly but defends impeccably will score eventually compared to a team with poor defence.

Sometimes a break is the best thing to help as well, the amount of times i’ve felt stuck, taken a week or two away and then i come back and feel fresh, sometimes that is all that is needed to get a fresh look on things, especially if you keep messing up.

  5. Thats good news to me 😂 Im a high diamond/low champ and about the only “mechanical” thing I can do is hit aerials consistently. But I can play faster than my rank and can shoot with power and accuracy and have pretty good ball control. Still need to work on mastering those things but im glad i have the skillset needed to progress further. Still need to learn how to wavedash tho lmao

  6. I met this person in Platt and he can Air dribble and flip reset like really good air dribbling and he started saying you’re so bad and thought he knew everything I just straight up told him you don’t need air dribbling all you need is good rotations fast aerials and some good ground plays and you can get out of plat. Like having good shots and just overall knowing the basics you can get out of Platt pretty easily.

  7. Where is the point of grinding those five mechanics, don't spend hundreds of hours in a silly video game, go outside or do something else or atleast have fun in rocket league, when you are plat and want to flip reset do it. Everything is fine, if it makes you happy, people who get mad about plats, golds or diamonds who learn difficult mechanics are just lost. And before some random hardstuck champ or Grandchamp with +3000 gets mad, go get a live, you are a joke.
