  1. I think it was actually quite obvious at 0:000:07 that the DPSer on the right was getting spells off more quickly with less time in between spells, and I think most people who play wow would be able to tell you that. I really don't think it takes "superhuman genetics" (galaxy brain IQ/zero lag eyeballs). Not sure if it was meant to be a joke and it went right over my head, but I just felt like saying that. Anyway, great video, it was super informative, just a small detail I noticed that I felt had to be addressed because I really think your guys' statement there is not true and that kind of phrasing can sometimes stop some people from even trying to notice even though they are completely capable of it.

  2. I have found that sometimes when I flame shock, the spell goes on cooldown, but is not actually applied or refreshed on my target. I run about 25 ms latency for home and world. Would this indicate that my setting is too low or too high? (Or is there another problem?)

Also, is /cqs significantly different than having /stop casting? Several macros I’ve seen in forums (for defensive and ghost wolf, for example) have several lines of /stop casting before the spell. That has always worked for me, but I didn’t know if it was the same thing as /cqs.

  3. "we recommend setting it to your latency plus 100-150"
which is the default value for 90% of the playerbase so you dont have to change anything, i wonder why the option was removed from the game

  4. Your channel is the first channel in history of channels that asks to hit the follow button, which i actually follow.

You are helping me soooo much on my road to gladiator.

    Thanks a lot!

  5. @Skill Capped WoW Guides would a macro like this look like that or u just need one /cqs?
    Macro:
    #showtooltip Wildheitsabzeichen des sündigen Aspiranten
    /cqs
    /wirken Kaltblütigkeit
    /cqs
    /wirken Symbole des Todes
    /cqs
    /wirken Schattenklingen
    /cqs
    /benutzen Wildheitsabzeichen des sündigen Gladiators

  6. For how little engagement pvp has this games arena is sweaty. the top 100 is just the same 10 guys with 10 alts lmao. at some point it's just going to be the same handful of r1 players queing into each other and selling each other boosts. the same kids you see at 3k you see at 1800 bcuz they just boost half the time lmao. dead fucking game and who would even care to be r1? this player pool is so dead it's unbelievable for pvp.

  7. props to you guys for covering the more technical stuff like this. This wasn't new to me personally, but i love the tinkering side of wow with addons/cvars/etc. Over the years yall have showed me several novel nifty things that I really appreciated.
Def my fave type of videos from yall. And the spicey memey ones. except when you're slandering pallies 🙁 😛 xD

  8. Hello, dude.

If I spam a skill with a bot, I leave the spell queue full, and after that I cancel the queue with a macro from another skill and the / cqs command, could I do more dps? My theory is that if I use a mouse or keyboard bot, that auto-presses the key, it should send a large amount of spam to the queue and with that the skill should exit without lag, that is, 0 ms

  9. Can someone explain why Higher spellqueuewindow is bad? I really don't understand.
As far as I understand, ability queueing (another var which used to exist) is no longer there.
Current I am assuming this is how spellqueuewindow works (below)

    Assumptions :
    GCD – 1000ms for simplicity (aka 1sec)
    spellqueuewindow – 400ms
Your Lag – 50ms (for simplicity)

    Timeline:
    1. your 1st spell cast by game lets call it X1 at 50ms
    2. If you press spells A1, B1 & C1 within spellqueuewindow ( After 650ms and before 1000ms. Because if u use it at 1001ms, the game will get ur input at 1051 ms wasting 1 ms )
    3. The game uses C1 @ exactly 1050ms (i.e next global)

Also with this in mind, isn't spamming ur Keys is detrimental?

    Example:
    GCD – 1000ms for simplicity (aka 1sec)
    spellqueuewindow – 150ms

Your Lag – 50ms (for understanding this example)

    1. your 1st spell cast by game lets call it X2 at 50ms
    2. If you press spells A2 at 950ms
    3. press spells B2 at 1000ms
    4. press spells C2 at 1020ms

Will the game use C2 at 1070ms (1020+50 lag) leading to a 20ms extra?
Or if B2 and C2 are same spell, then does C2 not override B2 from ur client side leading to no downtime since B2 was used 1000ms and game runs it at 1050ms?
