Google Project Lunar.
Absolutely loved Steel Empire. As a personal but slightly obscure suggestion, The Legend Of Galahad was a firm favourite.
I have Herzog Zwei on the Switch. It's one of my favorite Genesis games w/ great music.
Good selection, drunk! xD
Battletech and Shadowrun
General Chaos is an incredible game from memory. Rocket Knight Adventures is pure class and Herzog Zwei is god level, the first real time strategy game. My mind was blown.
I adding The Jungle Book, Toki (Juju Densetsu), Ristar, Top Gear 2, Power Ranger, Side Pocket, Thinder Force 4, Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Shadow Dancer , The Flinstone, Aladdin, Lion King

the space shooter segment i feel was a missed opportunity to mention Zero Wing, well known for the All Your Base meme, and also a fun game with a killer soundtrack
General Chaos!
Which version is better Aladin Genesis or snes?
I only discovered the ability to add games to my Megadrive mini this week. As soon as I heard about Project Lunar I was on it. I'm not adding too many games at once – don't want to be over faced – but made a solid start with the following:
– Aladdin
– Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament. Although you need to run it through Retro Arch which is already installed on Project Lunar
– Psycho Pinball – easily the best Pinball game on the Megadrive but needs to be run via Retro Arch
– Robocop Vs Terminator – I enjoy a bit of gore!
– Rocket Knight Adventures – can't believe this wasn't included on the mini anyway!
– Sensible Soccer International Edition
– Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe. Has to be the PAL version with better sound fx and music in game
– Sunset Riders
– Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Hyperstone Heist – again needs to be run via Retro Arch; and
– Thunderforce IV – why they put the 3rd one on instead is beyond me
Not a bad start and I'm already making a list for my next batch of uploads.
I feel like I've robbed myself.
Yeah, I've got a Genesis, but I've only had it a short time.
So much I've missed in this great console!
I'd put NHL 95 on. Such fast paced arcade fun.
"That sword…you must be…Drunk"
how do we add them? whats the point of this? i thought you will give us clues to actually adding those games, really!
To be honest, while I have a great deal of respect for SNES drunk's opinion, I really didn't like his list very much: I always hated the Splatterhouse games (all style, no substance), the shoot-'em-ups listed are all okay but fairly generic and Aladdin and Ristar, while polished, are ultimately fairly generic platform games. I was, however, delighted to see some love for Ranger X while Rocket Knight Adventures and Herzog Zwei were both games that I wish I hadn't missed first time around.
I decided to see what my list of 13 games would look like, so I went and sifted through a list of Mega Drive releases and I quickly came to the conclusion that Sega had largely nailed it with their list of games. The only games I was genuinely surprised and disappointed to see omitted are Dragon's Fury and Thunder Force IV. Other games I would have liked to have seen included are: Atomic Runner, Bio Hazard Battle, Gynoug (aka Wings of Wor), Ranger X and The Revenge of Shinobi.
Dune II & International Superstar Soccer Deluxe.
General Chaos is one of my favourites. The frame rate held it back, but it's underrated. And Mutant League Football! <3 <3 <3
NOTE: Hyperstone Heist has no audio on the mini's default emulator.
What about Gargoyles? It's easily one of the best looking Games on the System with an extremely dark athmosphere considering it's disney game. The difficulty is on the hefty side though….
No Shadowrun?
Im biased – legit one of my Top 5 games of all time. Always sad to see how underappreciated it was.
You should ABSOLOUTELY make a sequel for the Genesis Mini 2
